On Monday Holy Redeemer hired Tony Marranca to be the second head coach in the history of the school.
Marranca takes over for Len Butczynski who resigned in January after three years at the school to return to Wilkes University to be an assistant.

Hazleton Area hires Marranca

Thusday night Hazleton Area School Board made it official , voting to hire former Wyoming Area coach Paul Marranca as the new varsity football coach.
Marranca was hired by a unanimous 8-0 vote, with one board member absent. He replaces Rocco Petrone who resigned Dec. 10.
