Dave Spadaro and Shaun Young to Serve as Honorary Captains for Season Opener Against Team Led by Former NFL Player

Your Philadelphia Women’s Football team is proud to announce that Philadelphia Eagles Insider Dave Spadaro and Eagles Superfan Shaun Young will serve has Honorary Captains and participate in the coin toss for the season opener on April 2nd when they host the New York Sharks. Kick-off is schedule for 6pm at Northeast High School’s Charlie Martin Memorial Stadium.

Spadaro, a regular at Belle games loves coming to watch because the action mirrors the NFL’s high level of play. Spadaro also enjoys watching the fast paced offense that the Liberty Belles have to go along with their high flying, hard hitting defense. To make things even more interesting the Liberty Belles opponent will enter the game under the direction of former Pittsburgh Steelers and Superbowl Champion Darnell Stapleton.  The Liberty Belles staff, consisting of High School coaches, will face the New York Sharks which promises to be an exciting game!

Young, is perhaps the most well known of the Eagles fans. One thing that can be counted on every football season is that Young will be at the Eagles home games proudly displaying his beloved Eagles Colors of green and silver. The Liberty Belles are excited to have Young attend a game and is confident that Young will the see the Liberty Belles as the perfect filler when the Eagles are in the off season
