Monzon advances

Pending school board approval on April 20, JP McCaskey assistant coach Rob Monzon will be named head, football coach at JP McCaskey High School.

If approved, Monzon will be McCaskey‘s third new head coach in as many seasons.

A Stevens Tech assistant for 10 years, he coached the running backs and offensive line at Stevens Tech. He played offensive tackle and defensive end for JP McCaskey‘s 1984 team.

Monzon spent last season as an assistant to Dave Given, coaching the linebackers and tight ends.
