I am happy for Brian Fluck and his staff, they are a impressive group. I am happy that West Catholic survives and I admire the effect it has on the inner city children. The mission of West Catholic far exceeds sports champions.

Other news reports state that the schools were kept open by donations. Where did West Catholic come up with the donations? All you hear on the chat boards when West Catholic recruiting comes up is how poor and underprivileged the student body is, but somehow, somewhere, someone managed to come up donations large enough to keep the school open. (I saw a figure of $3 million for Conwell Egan).
