Former Philadelphia Eagle, Ricky Watters, will sit down to discuss his life, achievements, and inspirations including his connection with the Big 33 Scholarship Foundation on the next edition of “PCN Profiles” set to air Sunday, April 18 at 10:00 p.m. on the statewide television network.

Football has played a large role in Watters’ life.  A Harrisburg native, Watters first gained recognition on the field while attending Bishop McDevitt High School as he was named All-American and PA Big 33 player of the year.  While at the University of Notre Dame in 1988, Watters played on the national championship team.

A five-time Pro Bowl selection and a Super Bowl Champion, Watters has played for the San Francisco Forty-Niners, Philadelphia Eagles, and the Seattle Seahawks during his professional football career.  Now off the gridiron, Watters is a motivational speaker, recording artist, music producer and author.

This year, Watters has been named honorary chairman of the Big 33 game.  The game, which pits Pennsylvania and Ohio, will air June 19 on PCN.

“PCN Profiles” features interviews with prominent residents of the Commonwealth. The Sunday evening profiles are part of PCN’s Tours, Books, and Profiles primetime lineup.

PCN is a nonprofit, nonpartisan news organization created and supported by cable television companies that voluntarily carry the network on their channel lineup.  PCN receives no state or federal funding. Network programming is distributed on more than 150 cable systems in Pennsylvania serving more than 10 million Pennsylvanians in 3.3 million homes.  For more information, as well as channel designations, visit www.pcntv.com.
