District 4 Talk Week 7

Towanda

Towanda rolled over Tunkhannock and remains undefeated with a 35-15 win.

Travis Chesla rushed for 151 yards on 24 carries and two touchdowns. He also had a 90-yard kickoff return for a score.

Quarterback Dakota Roof completed 7 of 15 for 121 yards.

Towanda (7-0) travels to Athens.

Mount Carmel

Running back Justin Pellowski led Mount Carmel to a shutout win 20-0 over Jersey Shore.

Pellowski rushed for 190 yards and two touchdowns. Pellowski had touchdown runs for 51 and 5 yards.

Mount Carmel finished the game with 283 total yards of offense.

Mount Carmel (5-2) travels to Lewisburg.

Hughesville

Andy Laychur and Cody Butler were already out with injuries and Hughesville suffered another injury when Blaine Johnson went down. Trailing 7-6 at halftime, Hughesville scored two touchdowns in the second half and won over North Penn 21-7.

Ethan Showers rushed for 225 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Spartans.

Matt McCabe had two sacks. Bryce Pardoe and Cameron Taylor combined for 13 tackles.

Hughesville (6-1) hosts Bloomsburg.
