In their first three games of the 2010 season the Chester Clippers have been able to run ball with plenty much ease. On Friday afternoon Chester continued their ground attack in dominating fashion has they rolled Samuel Fels 32-6 in an early afternoon non-league contest at Northeast Charlie Martin Memorial Stadium. Just how dominating were the Clippers they amassed 306 yards rushing.

The Clippers stormed out to 18-0 lead in the opening 12 minutes. Darrell Nicholson got the scoring parade started with his 38 yard run that looked as if he was tackled alone the Fels sideline but the officials never ruled the play over and Nicholson went untouched for the touchdown. The official on the Fels when asked at halftime said that Nicholson never touched the ground instead he sat on the defender. Anthony Davis would account for the next two scores. His first score of the day was of the receiving variety has he hauled in a 32 yard from Da’Ryn Harris. Davis second score came on the ground and was from 78 yards out. Nicholson would finish the game with 99 yards on 13 carries

In the second Fels would cut the Clippers lead down to 12 when Tyree Rucker connected with Jared Hines for the 50 yard score cutting the Clipper lead down to 18-6 halftime lead.

The Clippers would extend their lead in the third when Davis found the end zone for the third time on the day. This time Davis would punch it in from 39 yards out. Davis would finish the game with 159 yards rushing on only seven carries to go along with four catches for 109 yards.

The Clippers face a tough test when they take on traditional Catholic League powerhouse Cardinal O’Hara
