Cedar Cliff Advances To The District 3 5A Title Game

Last year Exeter made the trip to Camp Hill to face Cedar Cliff In the District Three playoffs. The 2018 first round affair turned out to be a lopsided win by the Colts. The 2019 version would mean a District Title trip for the winner. Cedar Cliff jumped out early and never looked back. The Colts advanced to the District 3 5A title game with a resounding 24-0 win over Exeter Twp. Friday Night.

Cedar Cliff Head Coach Colin Gilles spoke highly of his team following the win. “Offensively we are Really starting to gain some traction in the passing game, which is critical.  Very very pleased with how we performed on both sides of the ball tonight.”  

Cedar Cliff took to opening kick and moved right down the field. Pedro Cintron scored the first TD

The Cedar Cliff Defense kept Exeter in check. As we started quarter two the Colts moved out to a 14-0 lead. 

Two first half Cedar Cliff touchdowns were negated by penalties. A third scoring drive was snuffed out by a late INT. We went to halftime Cedar Cliff 14 Exeter Twp 0 

An Exeter turnover was converted  into points by Cedar Cliff. 17-0 Colts In the third quarter 

Morris scored to make it 24-0 Cedar Cliff in the third quarter 

The fourth quarter turned into a defensive standoff. Cedar Cliff moves on to the District 3 5A title game with the 24-0 win over Exeter Twp.
