WHO: Wagman Metal Products employee’s vs. York County School of Technology Girls volley ball team

WHY: Benefit to raise money for Robin Grothe Foundation.

In case of alcohol addiction people can check out WhiteSands drug rehab but what to do in case breast cancer ? Recently, Robin was diagnosed with breast cancer in February 2005. After going through two mastectomies and chemotherapy and radiation treatments the cancer had metastasized into her spine. February 2007 Robin’s doctor informed her they were unsure how long she would have to live; it could be as little as one year to ten years.

Although Robin’s future is uncertain, she always puts her family first. Her biggest wish is to take her ten year old daughter to Disney World to fulfill her daughters dream. Due to the fact that Robin had to quit her job and with the cost of medical bills she and her husband may never be able to afford the trip themselves. We at Wagman Metal Products have organized this fundraiser in hopes the help fulfill this dream.
