  1. @tsaf,
I’ve been following this whole back and forth. To keep your sanity, I would let it go. All anybody has to do is read your post and they will know you never said any team will be eliminated on turkey day. You said that WEEKEND teams will be eliminated. Again, you never, ever said a team would be eliminated on Thanksgiving. I do follow your logic, all someone has to do is comprehend the English language to do so. I still hate the “bye week” excuse, but it is not to difficult to understand your debate.

  2. Coach don’t understand were your anger comes from. no one is asking for a pity party. just stating the facts. it’s hard for any team to win when you loose your best offensive player and your starting QB. sorry your feel such hatred for C’VILLE. we really are nice people. by the way was at that game on our side last year and no one cheered when that kid got hurt. in fact we all clapped for him when he left the field. sorry you hate us so much. Coatesville is full of hard working good people who love to support their teams. just like everyone else. Been to plenty of games at other schools and came accross some pretty ignorant people. I certainly don’t judge the entire community on those few ignorant individuals. so please don’t judge us that way. anyway have a nice day.

  3. Wow coatesville takes a lose on friday and they drop out of the top 10 rankings in the big school rankings. I guess thats how the it rolls, just cause they took a big hit with their main man out , does not mean they cant make it any where. All I can say is good luck to all the teams ,, and see you at hershey . Also dont for get about manheim central barons ..

  4. @tsaf, just curious, I don’t follow your logic if there is any in your post.

You state that it’s a choice for IC to play a turkey day game (agreed) but then you end that there are teams who will be “strained” due to their playing on Thanksgiving.

Also, what specific teams will be eliminated from PIAA playoffs by losing on Thanksgiving? Again, just curious.

  5. D1 Seeds are official per the Coaches’ meeting this morning:

    1 – Garnet Valley
    16 – CR North

    8- Abington
    9- Upper Dubin

    5 – Downingtown West
    12 – Spring-Ford

    4 – Neshaminy
    13 – Unionville

    3 – Pennsbury
    14 – Upper Darby

    6 – Coatesville
    11 – North Penn

    7 – CB West
    10 – Plymouth-Whitemarsh

    2 – Rustin
    15 – Perk Valley

  6. @ Buddy

Council Rock North is 16th seed. The Rams have only Quakertown to look forward to on Thanksgiving. I have seen no other brackets. I know you will appreciate this – caught the Neshaminy-Pennsbury game friday night; very surprised in overall outcome. Not the winner-loser; but the score.

  7. @ Kmac:

    Thanks for the info.
Someone has posted on this site that CR North is 16th seed, and another site ( PFN ) has Pennridge 16th seed. Also has discrepancy for other seeds.
Just dying to know whose right.
Know any other site that has the brackets yet?

  8. @Buddy

One game today could (but unlikely) affect the 14-15 positions of Perk Valley and Upper Darby. But Bonner-Prendie would have to “upset’ O’Hara. The 10 more for UD would put them ahead of PV in that case. D1 probably just waiting for the sure result before updating. From what i have seen posted by others on D1 positions; it is only the 14-15 spots still in limbo.

  9. @ Mika:

    Yes, I see that.
Neither is D2,4 or 11 updated.
    Interested in D1 myself.
I don’t think there are any games today that effect the brackets, so they should be available by now.

  10. mgguy
You mentioned Fleetwood. Know anything else about them? They will be headed to Wilkes-Barre next week to play Coughlin in the EC. Is fleetwood a running team? passing team? Who are their top players?
    Thanks in advance.

  11. @O L Coach, Thank You and well put! Last year’s state semi game speaks volumes of LaSalle’s kids, program and school. Never give up, LaSalle being down 21 into the 4th qtr (with those three players out), and get to the 19 to potentially tie the game (Gordon was going to go for 2 and the win). Sorry to see any player go down for the season, but…as in life, this will teach kids how to handle and come back from adversity. I hope a speedy recovery and a great football playoff season!

  12. Where’s all u district 11 ‘aaaa’ fans EASTON at VALLEY WEST good part of the bracket winner will be in regional finals, east stroudsburg has only played strousburg and pleasent valley this year both close wvw smoked stroudsburg and easton would do the same . SO this is for for people in disrict 11 wvw is great against the run, but problems with the pass does easton throw alot? now for wvw offence avg’s 43 pts a game allows 14 a game we avg 225 yards rushing and 182 yards passing which is alot for high school district 2 just looking for some inside on easton in there 2 losses, how did they get scored on alot in those games? thanks !!! we have a spread ,no huddle offence that has alot of speed and we throw around 20 times a game also , so district 11 fans what do u think????

  13. RUSTIN could keep the district one title in chesmont this year. they dont get a lot of respect i guess they just going to have to show it every week this postseason and silence some people

  14. North Penn should take out C’ville, Unionville has a real good chance to bounce Neshaminy and Rustin should beat Perk. Valley but could get a scare.

  15. @raiderfan24/7, please stop with the pity party. Last year, LS lost 3 two way starters including the most productive receiver in PCL history. C’ville fans were quite vocal in their lack of sympathy so don’ t expect any now. Karma really can be a bitch; it’s a shame for Worley but that’s about all.

  16. @OL Coach.

No disrespect to Buddy! Idc if he’s been a NP fan for 2 days or 20 years, then just be a fan and don’t blog about what you don’t know. He threw them under the bus and left them for dead after their 3rd drubbing, now he’s back. They ran the table in a decent confrence or are they really that good.

My point is the NP coach chooses to play the best out of conf. Schedule he can and lost. I guess they could beat up on a few local teams to get wins, but the new point sytem has him as an 11 seed with 1 more lose then the. 5 teams behind him.

To start the season the o-line was young, sum guys were hurt and they discovered a great soph RB. Now they are humming, healthy and could win a few games in districts.

  17. Think about your team. the team you pull for take your starting QB and your best offensive player out of the picture and tell me what your chances are honestly. just the nature of football but it does make a big diffrence in how good your team will play. that being said. good luck to all the teams in the playoffs. It should be fun.
