  1. Before all the Catholic vs Public crap starts up just remember most if not all public schools will take tuition students so anyone can go anywhere you just have to pay the dough!

  2. Phillyboy –

    If you don’t think that LaSalle can beat any of the four teams that you mention then you don’t know know what you are talking about. Don’t go crazy over SJ Prep….they beat a very overrated North Penn team and LaSalle is much bigger and more physical on both sides of the line of scrimmage. I would give the edge in skill position players to SJP.

  3. @ Wolfman;

    Because they are North Penn

    @ et al:

    Yep, no doubt about it, this is a rebuilding year, they sure as hell ain’t re-loading.

  4. Looks like LaSalle’s run could be over. There’s a new sherrif in town. Expect the winner of Prep/Easton to meet the winner of Downingtown East/Garnet Valley in the eastern final. Then probably winner of Prep/D. East will take on Gateway or N. Allegheny in Hershey.

  5. @pa or dont you mean “GUYS” who dont know much about football? take your gripe to the mirror in the bathroom…

  6. North Penn >>>>>the most over rated team in PA. They were basically dominated by 3 Philadelphia Catholic League teams 3 yards total in the 1st half against Wood, if the kid from Wood doesn’t put it on the ground 5 times they would have been dominated three times. Hoe is this team ranked so highly?

  7. @ B

    The home page of prepfootball.org has “media” at the top. If you click on that, then “live streaming”, then “click on this for live broadcast” you’ll come to a blank screen. Don’t know what to do at that point. Maybe a code is necessary.

  8. Coach Curry is worth 2 tds alone.. Berwick will need to play hard and for 4 quarters. Def. needs to get to #5. Time to put last years loss behind. Show Dallas some good old smash mouth Berwick football.

  9. Dallas at Berwick last chance for Dallas a loss and they might be on the out side looking in for the playoffs.Pittston in the same boat,it a must win week for both. Dunmore @ West Scranton always a phycial game.Will be at the Valley View @ Honesdale game. Good luck to all

  10. Mount carmel @ southern columbia!!! Two district 4 powers. Friday night at tiger stadium… get your dancin shoes shined and your hair done for this show!!!
    I like southern 34-24…… ?????

  11. The Lehigh Valley Conference, D 11, Games to follow, Freedom visits Whitehall, The Whitehall offense has looked more crisped in their No-huddle Offense. The 2012 Freedom’s squad is still looking to make a statement win, this could be a good start. ACC and Emmaus games, so big for both teams, Emmaus has not been tested this year. ACC looking to pick up bonus points for 3A playoffs. 5 wins get ACC in. MVC, Stroudsburg travels two Exits to East Stroudsburg South, the Purple Pit!!! Enjoy the games… Semper Fi!!!!!!!!!!

  12. Games of Interest in the Coloinal League: Bangor @ So. Lehigh, it’s time for the Spartans to live up to their pre-season top ranking in the Coloinal League. It’s not do or die, but close. Up and coming Palisades travels to Catty, who has surprised the league so far. Catty has serveral weapons this year. As long they stay health-free. Their schedule does get stronger thoughout the season. Pen Argyl @ N.D., both have good defenses, but the Green Knights are more battled tested. Enjoy the games!!! Semper Fi…..

  13. @jiveturkey9:
    I agree with you on all that. You’re right, I am a D1 fan. But I try to look at it objectively.

    I’m afraid you’re right again, I think NP could be in trouble this week against Prep. I really don’t know what Prep has, but if they can pass well ( like LaSalle), NP’s in trouble.

    @solfootballfan:

    You’re right. CB South could be a sleeper. We all know about D-town East, and I thought Pennridge would be a contender. They still might.Some really good games coming up, like NP/CB South. You’ll wanna catch that one.

  14. @jimbo
    Heard from a father who sons plays that it was just a real bad sprain ,now that talk not a fact for sure.As for Valley View i dont think you know what they have till they play Scranton.On paper they should get by Honesdale & East Stoudsburge North.Passing game needs a lot of work 5 for 19 with 4 int isn’t going to get it done.Needs to get all his athletes involed not just phillps(if he can play)and Castellani.Time will tell lot of ball to play

  15. It’s kinda early, but even with the loss of Johns, Brown, Veal and 6 other starters on offense, cb south’s offense is looking pretty solid. The defense, the biggest weakness for this team in previous seasons, has a lot of returning members and so far looks to be promising, at least for now. Cb South seems like the sleeper of the SOL. Anyone else agree with me?

  16. @ OL Coach

    Imhotep is just a power house and their speed is just stupid on defense and offence.
    If you wanna see why they are one of the top AA power house come to the game at Germantown football field at 6pm on saturday and you will see the crushing hits our defense puts on offenses and the speed we have on offense. And see if any AA team can top our speed. #Tep

  17. @Buddy,
    I am no LaSalle fan by a long shot. However I do root for some of the PCL, and root for some teams in the Pub. That being said, my point was not how great LaSalle or any other PCL AAAA teams are, it was about how Wood is not what everybody expected them to be. I think Wood would have a very tough time with Washington, AAAA Pub team. Although Wood will kill AAAA Frankford this week.
    On a lighter note, I loved one of your respondants. Almost the same know it all response, but in a total contradictory platform. You got called a know it all message board reader for supporting Wood. On Funksters top 10 I got called the same thing, by the same person, for knocking them. Gotta love original thought! Enjoy Prep vs. NP this week. I guess you are a D1 guy buy I have a bad feeling for NP this week. Never know till they play the game though.

  18. Mark d, phillips had acl injury, think he tore it, not sure! He had 8 carries for 94 yards before he went down. It”s ashame but thats football, although his replacements did wonderful ., i hope they do the same against the div 1 teams this year!
