  1. @ Dan Gleesac, your a funny guy… All the crap you blabbed about with Imhotep and how they eat nails, have speed of Sanders, and power of Alstott, you should write comic books. And @ CT Coach, word of advise, a coach should never be on a talk forum, if your a true coach. Peace. I went to the game today and I will tell you, that if a team is going to beat Alliquipa, it’s Wyomissing, that team is so disciplined. I will say that Imhotep kids were very classy as were the parents. Nice to see. A lot of studs on that team too.

  2. where is all the cville love. All the doubters have going into hiding. if cville lost would posted Lasalle was better team. got to admit that team is FAST. SPEED KILLS.

  3. Congratulations to all the teams that were able to make it to this week in the playoffs. Good luck to Coatesville, Wood, Wyomissing and Dunmore being the Eastern representatives in the State Championships next weekend.

Some shocking results with Coatesville being able to pull what would appear to be an upset over La Salle.
The biggest shock would have to be Wyomissing, noone even mentioned them on this website and they were the better team all along in AA.

  4. Where are all the Imhotep posters now saying that they where the best team in the state from a to aaaa, like I said before this is highschool football, they are still kids and anything can happen in any giving weekend

  5. About Imhotep being the best team in the state at any level ( Dan Gleesac & CT coach)…… does that mantle now go to Wyomissing?

  6. Wow! Apparently Wood’s bus did not get lost finding Banko Stadium. Although it appears the bus ran over the entire ACC defense. I figured Wood would wear them down but not to this extent. It’s hard to tell from the stats because I hear Wood pulled most starters in 2nd half, but I hear they could have scored 70 again if Devlin kept his starters in. This Wood team is young but they seem to be peaking at the right time. Can someone who was at the game give a quick breakdown? They got their fumbleitis out of the way against NP and Prep .Did Wood throw much? I assume they just pounded ACC on the ground with their huge line.

Coatesville, Congrats! Man what a game in all aspects. I am happy they will be representing the District for the east. Well coached, athletic, and hard nosed. Bring it home Ville! NA will be a beast but I think Ville will pull it out.

  7. How about Wyomissing? Guess they weren’t the 4 TD underdog that Imhotep thought they were. Next weeks games should be really entertaining- Wyomissing and Coatesville against D7. NA WILL be a handful, they totally dismantled one heck of a defense today.

  8. well got the score close just had wrong school winning o_0 Did not see that coming WOW Wyomissing O line and D line was bigger than Imhoteps didn’t think that was possible. and knew nothing about # 24 from Wyomissing he is a man child 6’3″ 230lbs. RB/LB with a boyish face (look like he was 14) on his way to play LB at Notre Dame. Wyomissing 35 to Imhotep 13 well played game just think Teps DB’s got exposed Tep is young they will be back!

  9. Came on here to see if there was any good bickering going on… How ’bout them refs last night?! Totally unbiased! No missed calls! Great job all-around! Hahaha.

Wanted something to laugh at so I guess I’ll just read @Dan Gleesac’s Imhotep post again… looks like the nails and gasoline for breakfast caught up with them. I knew they were jinxed as soon as he said King Dunlap.

  10. There’s going to be some unhappy Imhotep fans in Philly, and on this message board tonight.

    Signed,

A happy Pen Argyl Green Knight fan.

  11. sixers: its good to see a change in the final from one side of the bracket, keeps fresh fans traveling to hershey. 42-35 is not dominating a game, but it is winning, which is what matters when time expires. Get ready for Hershey, its time to leave it all on the field, which I’m sure Coatesville will. Good Luck, because “Luck is when preparation meets opportunity.”

  12. 3 for 3 woww almost exact scores in cville -La game i had 41-19 score was 42-35 Wood game i had 28-22 score was 36-6 i had Dunmore 35-14 score was 40-19 just waiting on Imhotep game now Tep 45-13 wish I had a horse in this race

  13. Yes LaSalle lost it best player – Coleman (one of the best players in the state), its 2nd best two way lineman – Spiteri, and its team captain and two way player Eife. Three of its best five players gone and Coatesville barely squeaks it out. At full strength it was obvious who the better team was.

Best of luck to Coatesville in Hershey.

  14. @ John

I’d like to congratulate the opponent; you played a whale of a game. That one’s on me. I need to put myself in a position to make plays. I gotta do a better job. I’m gonna evaluate the game to see what needs to be done to get this thing turned around. Time’s yours.

  15. Can someone explain how Allentown Central Catholic could be mercy rule dominated by Arch Wood for two years in a row? After all this is the state semi-finals. Has Dist 11 football dropped off the face of the earth? How is this possible?

  16. Yes LaSalle lost its best player – Coleman (one of the best players in the state), its 2nd best two way lineman – Spiteri, and its team captain and two way player Eife. Best of lluck to Coatesville in Hershey.
