Shout outs Week 10

Giving a shout-out to:

Tamaqua Area Blue Raiders. They defeated Marian Catholic 12-0 and improved their record to 10-0. This is the first time since 1927 that they have no ties. In 1962 they finished with 10 wins – no losses – but one tie.

Allentown Central Catholic’s running back Colin McDermott. McDermott rushed for 422 yards on 39 carries for an unofficial LVC record. In 2002, Parkland’s Austin Scott rushed for 402 yards.

Harriton’s Quarterback Pat Moriarty. Moriarty threw for 381 yards and three touchdowns against Strath Haven Friday night. He is now the career leader in passing yards and touchdowns in the Central League. He currently has 6,153 yards passing and 54 touchdowns.

Wilkes-Barre Coughlin’s running back Zach Evans. Evans rushed for 262 yards and five touchdowns. His team defeated Crestwood 42-20.

Dowingtown West’s running back Tino Bunhu. Bunhu rushed for 257 yards and six touchdowns. The Whippets defeated Bishop Shannon 49-13.

Episcopal Academy. They recored their sixth shutout of the season, defeating Germantown Academy 47-0. They have out scored their opponents by 347 and have given up only 21 points.

Lewisburg’s Brandon Smith. Smith rushed for 205 yards and four touchdowns. (three rushing and one receiving). The Green Dragons defeated Mifflinburg 38-6.
