Coaches Comments: Korie Mayer played our weakside defensive end position. Korie is a 6’2 215 lb wrecking ball of a track star. He has great potential to be a force next season due to his physical presence and track speed. Korie finished the year with 72 tackles, 11 TFL, 4 sacks, and 1 Fumble recovery. We were very happy with the performance Korie consistently put out. Korie looks to improve dramatically from this year to next and take a big step forward. I predict he will be an all-state performer as an edge rusher next season.
