RECAP: Lackawanna Football Conference (Dec. 01-02)

As another season winds down, and another state championship is on the horizon. At this time I would like to recognize some outstanding teams from District 2 with a congratulatory acknowledgment.
The Dallas Mountaineers are heading to the P.I.A.A “AAAA” State Championship game. Job well done in double overtime beating heavily favored Bishop McDevitt
Other district 2 teams to acknowledge that had successful seasons:
Lackawanna Trail
Delaware Valley
Scranton Prep
Dunmore
Valley View
Abington Heights
Congratulations to all the hard work in the season, but now the journey begins yet again, back to the weight room gentlemen. And congratulations to all the other teams in District 2 that might not have made the playoffs, but put hard work day in and day out.
