Defensive Player of the Week:
William Davis (Arch. Wood – Sr. – LB)
Davis was his typical active self in propelling the improving Vikings to a 28-0 whitewashing of Conwell-Egan. He hustled and flew around for a league-high 13 tackles in the game; including 9 solo stops and a pair of sacks.

Defensive Honor Roll:
-Mason Bey (Neum.-Gor – Soph. – DL)- Banged around for 7 tackles, including a half-of-sack, and two other TFLs.
-Elijah Daniels (Bonner-Pren. – Sr. – DE)- Registered six tackles; including a pair of sacks.

-JP Plaza (arch. Ryan – Jr. – S)- contributed five tackles, an interception, and forced a fumble.

Special Teams Player of the Week:
-Ashdan Roberts (Roman – Sr. – WR/KR)
Roberts proved to be dynamic all over the field for Roman in their impressive win over LaSalle. As a receiver, he made nine catches for 132 yards and a pair of scores. However, it was his blur of a score on a 82-yard kickoff return that ultimately got the Cahillites believing they could come out on top in this PCL Red dandy.

Multi-Purpose Player of the Week:
-Eyan Stead (Roman – Sr. – WR/DB/KR)
Stead put forth a tremendous performance in the Cahillites’ scintillating, 39-26, win over LaSalle. Offensively, he made 6 catches for 106 yards and a TD (47 yards). Defensively, he added 6 tackles, 4 pass defends, and an interception. He also chipped-in with 36 yards on returns.

Spectacular in Defeat:
-Gavin Sidwar (LaSalle – Sr. – QB)
Sidwar passed for three scores on a 22-for-36, 318 yards showing in the Explorers’ setback to Roman. In the game, the LaSalle signal-caller broke the school record for passing yards and now sits with 7,107 for his career. The previous record was held by current LaSalle head coach Brett Gordon (6,837).
