Philadelphia Catholic League Players of the Week (Week of November 9, 2025)

Offensive Player of the Week:
-Yeboa Cobbold (Lansdale Cath. – Sr. – QB)
Cobbold accounted for 6 of the 7 Crusaders’ touchdowns in their win over Bristol. He rushed 9 times for 137 yards and 4 scores on the ground. Via the air he passed 7-for-10 for another 76 yards and two more touchdowns. Cobbold has now gone over 1,000 yards in both passing rushing this season.

Offensive Honor Roll:
-Marquis Coleman (Naum.-Gor. – Frosh. – QB)- Passed 15-for-27, with 204 yards and a pair of TD strikes.
-Nate Dwornik (Neum.-Gor. – Sr. – WR)- Made four catches for 90 yards and a 59-yard score.
-A’mar Woodson (Neum.-Gor. – Jr. – RB)- Rushed 10 times for 101 yards and s score.
-Jahmil Hawkins (Roman – Soph. – QB)- In relief of star Semaj Beals, Hawkins saw three of his four completions going for touchdowns. He also rushed 4 times for 80 yards.
-Amahj Gowans (O’Hara – Sr. – RB)- Gowans rushed 23 times for 133 yards while finding the end zone twice.

Defensive Player of the Week:
-Isaac Day (Cardinal O’Hara – Jr. – LB)
Day spearheaded a focused Lions’ defensive unit to the tune of a team-high ten tackles (6 solos) and a fumble recovery. Day’s play helped his team hold the Friars to just three points.

Defensive Honor Roll:
-Jelane Richardson (Neum.-Gor. – Jr. – DB)- Richardson made two interceptions for the Saints in their shutout win over Bartram in the D-12 3A title game.
-John Cobbold (Lansdale Cath. – Jr. – DB)- Cobbold hustled for 5 tackles, including three TFLs for the Crusaders.
-Josh Dahn (O’Hara – Jr. – LB)- Dahn was active with 8 tackles and a forced/recovered fumble.
-Jalen Patterson (O’Hara – Sr. – DB)- Managed 6 tackles and a fumble recovery for the Lions.

Special Teams Player of the Week:
-Gavin McLain (Cardinal O’Hara – Sr. – K/P)
The very reliable McLain was instrumental for the Lions in their big, 24-3, victory over Bonner-Prendie. He belted all three PATs and nailed a 19-yard FG in the game. He also punted four times for a 38.3 average. One of his punts led to a muff in which the Lions recovered. He also blasted 3 touchbacks in the game.

Multi-Purpose Player of the Week:
-Nick O’Brien (Lansdale Cath. – Sr. – RB/DB)
O’Brien was a stalwart on both sides of the ball in the Crusaders, 49-21, win over Bristol. Offensively, he churned-out 114 yards on 17 carries. On the other side of the ball, he made four tackles, a pass defend, and had an interception to aid the cause.

Spectacular in Defeat:
-CJ Amobi (Bonner-Pren. – Sr. – DE)
The Friars rugged end played a strong game in his team’s PCL 4A Final setback to Cardinal O’Hara. He contributed 8 tackles; including six solo stops in the game.
