Philadelphia Catholic League Players of the Week (Week of November 24th, 2024)

Offensive Player of the Week:

-Jeremiah Coleman (Bonner-Pren. – Sr. – WR): Coleman was sensational in the Friars win over Pope John Paul II this past Friday night. He made 8 catches for 203 yards and a pair scores. Coleman now holds the B-P single-season receiving yards record with 843 yards.

Offensive Honor Roll:

-Charlie Foulke (St. Joe’s Prep – Soph. – QB): Foulke was once again reliable and on point as witnessed by his 15-for-21, 207-yards, and three TD effort in the Hawks dismantling of Parkland in the 6A State Quarterfinals.

-Khyan Billups (St. Joe’s Prep – Jr. – QB): Billups is on a roll for the Hawks and kept at it this week to the tone of 166 yards on 20 carries. He added a pair of scores, too.

-Rameir Hardy (St. Joe’s Prep – Sr. – WR): Hardy made four catches for 80 yards and two scores to help pace the Hawks’ receiving corps

-Noel Campbell (Bonner-Pren. – Soph. – QB): Campbell continued his productive season and broke some long-standing Friars passing records in the process. He finished 13-for-21, 254 yards and two scores. Campbell now holds school’s single-season records in passing yards (2,395), touchdowns (26), and completions (157).

Rayshawn Scott (Roman – Sr. – WR): Scott stayed busy for the Cahillites with 6 receptions for 141 yards and two touchdowns. Scott broke the city record for receiving yards in a season and now has 1,317 yards on the year.

Jojo DeLeece (Roman – Soph. – RB): DeLeece rushed ten times for 109 yards and two scores as the Cahillites rolled past Hollidaysburg, 48-14.

Defensive Player of the Week:

-Will Felder (Roman – Sr. – LB): On Friday, Felder made an early interception and returned it 28 yards to inside the opponent’s 5-yard line. Setting up the Cahillites first score. He also tallied four tackles in the game. Felder, who has been in and out of the line-up recently, can be a dynamic playmaker for the Cahillites.

Defensive Honor Roll:

-Anthony Sacca (St. Joe’s Prep – Sr. – LB): Sacca made six tackles for the Hawks with three of them going for losses. He also added a pass defend.

-Jalil Hall (Bonner-Pren. – Sr. – OLB): The rangy Hall notched six stops for the Friars and was an active participant on the defensive side of the ball.

-Freddy DiNardo (Roman – Jr. – DT): DiNardo was a presence along the Cahillites front-four with 4 tackles, including a sack and two other TFLS.

Special Teams Player of the Week:

-Alijah Turner & Jamir Rowe (St. Joe’s Prep – KR/WR – Sr’s): This Hawks’ duo were both productive in the passing game and with returns for the Hawks. Turner fielded four punts that went for 67 yards (Long of 27). He also added 65 yards and a TD on 4 receptions. Rowe returned a late kickoff 92 yards for a score and made a pair of catches worth 43 yards.

Multi-Purpose Player of the Week:

-Mick Johnson (Bonner-Pren. – Sr. – RB/S): Johnson takes home this honor for the second straight week as he spearheaded the Friars on both sides of the ball in their impressive win over Pope John Paul II. Offensively, he turned his ten carries into 129 yards and two scores. He added a reception for ten yards, too. Defensively, he made four tackles and added a pass defend.

Spectacular in Defeat:

-None (No team lost this week)
