Offensive Player of the Week

Daquan Robinson – Roman Catholic – QB – Junior

Making his first start at quarterback for the injured Jayden Pope, Robinson accounted for 297 yards of offense and four touchdowns. Not asked to throw a ton, he made the most of his opportunities with 237 yards on just five completions. Three of these went for scores that covered 70, 58, and 80 yards. On the ground, Robinson kept the Judge defense honest with 60 yards on 10 totes, including a 12-yard scoring run. The Cahillites pounded the Crusaders, 46-14.

Defensive Player of the Week

Mason Peterson – Bonner-Prendie – OLB – Sophomore

Peterson notched three of his team’s seven sacks to lead his squad to an important road win (12-to-7) at Carroll. The three sacks accumulated 28 yards in losses. Peterson’s play was instrumental in holding the Patriots to 64 yards of total offense and minus-9 yards rushing.

Special Teams Player of the Week

Brendan Menges – Lansdale Catholic – K/P – Senior

The reliable and steady Crusader kicker shook-off a couple of earlier misses and nailed a 33-yard field goal on the game’s final play. The boot broke a 20-to-20 tie and gave his team a much needed victory as they jockey for playoff positioning in the District 1/12 subregional. Menges also made a tackle on a long kickoff return that forced a fumble. He punted twice for a 44.5 yard average, including a long of 50 yards.
