Pennsylvania Small Schools Top 10 – Week 9

Southern Columbia is a solid No. 1 in the High School Football America Pennsylvania Small Schools (AAA, AA, A) as we head into the final week of the regular season. The 8-time state champs are hoping to close-out a perfect regular season when they face Danville.
The Schuylkill League Division 1 features a logjam at the top with three teams that are at the bottom of our statewide rankings that are created with our proprietary algorithm.
Jim Thorpe breaks into the Top 10 at No. 8 after upsetting former No. 5 Tamaqua 21-14. Tamaqua falls to No. 9. Heading into the final weekend of the regular season, No. 10 North Schuykill, Jim Thorpe and Tamaqua all have one league loss. Look for all three to make the District XI Class AAA one to watch on the Road to Hershey in the postseason.
