Our 30 ranked teams went a combined 27-3 this past weekend.
In Class 6A, our No. 2-ranked team, Harrisburg, fell to our No. 5-ranked team, Bishop McDevitt, 51-14. With the loss, Harrisburg drops in the rankings, while St. Joseph’s Prep moves up to No. 2 and Bishop McDevitt climbs to No. 3.
In Class 3A, our No. 1-ranked team, Northwestern Lehigh, fell to our No. 3-ranked team in Class 5A, Southern Lehigh, 17-14. With the loss, the Tigers drop to No. 2, while Propel Braddock Hills takes over the top spot at No. 1.
The biggest upset of the weekend came in Class 4A, where Blue Mountain knocked off our No. 1-ranked team, Shamokin, 34-14. With the loss, Shamokin drops out of our Top 5 rankings.
Malvern Prep, out of the Inter-Ac League, takes over the No. 1 spot, while West York moves up two spots to No. 2. South Fayette remains at No. 3, and North Pocono climbs one spot to No. 4. Rounding out the Top 5 is Dallas, out of District 2, making its debut in the rankings at No. 5.
