In one of the most antictpated District 2 Class A match ups of the season, unbeaten Old Forge (4-0) travels to Taylor to take on the Riverside Vikings (3-1). The Blue Devils enter the contest with the top scoring offense (42.3) and a defense which ranks second in points allowed (7.0) in the District.

Old Forge has prevailed in each of their last nine regular season contests and their past six on the road. This season, the Devils have scored 42-points or more in three contests so far. The defense has held up as they have allowed their last three opponents to a total of fourteen points.

Riverside has won their last three outings and have scored 92-points in their last two contests. The Vikings have registered a 24-8 home record since September 29, 2006.

The series has been ruled by Riverside as of late. The Vikings have won nine of their last twelve meetings with the Devils. These two programs have faced off against each other twice in three of the last four years.

Nuggets
-Old Forge has not had a losing season since 2003…Over the last eight years, the Devils have posted a winning percentage of 73.6% (64-23).
-Riverside played for the PIAA Class A Championship in 2010 against Clairton…Since 2007, the Vikes have won 10 or more games three times.
