NTL Large School Preview

Hi Folks!

Here are my preseason picks for the Large School Standings in the NTL for the 2011 season:

Towanda 5-0 and 9-1 Overall
North Penn 4-1 and 8-2 Overall
Athens 3-2 and 5-5 Overall
Troy 2-3 and 3-7 Overall
Wellsboro 1-4 and 2-8 Overall
Cowanesque 0-5 and 1-9 Overall

I have Towanda and North Penn far above the pack this season and they will play for the NTL title early in the year. Wellsboro, Athens, and Troy will have some good games versus one another and a rebuilding Cowanesque team will struggle.

Game of the Year: Towanda vs North Penn on Sept. 23rd
Player of the Year: Jordan Dawsey, Towanda
Offensive Player of the Year: Ben Shaw, Wellsboro
Defensive Player of the Year: Tanner Bulkley, Troy
