Northeast DE Deion Barnes adds scholarship offers from Georgia, Minnesota

Philadelphia Northeast’s Deion Barnes has added two additional scholarship offers, bringing his total to 10, according to Rivals.com.

Barnes has added offers from Georgia and Minnesota, according to Rivals.com. Barnes already had scholarship offers from Louisville, Maryland, Michigan, Penn State, Pitt, South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia.

Earlier in the year, Barnes’ profile on Rivals also listed schools like Duke, Rutgers, Syracuse and Temple as showing interest, but those schools had not extended scholarship offers and are not currently listed on Barnes’ profile.

Northeast did not submit stats to Maxpreps.com. Barnes was part of a Viking defense that allowed an average of 19.2 points per game, holding three of their final four opponents to seven points or less, with one shutout.
