North Pocono standout Cole West has announced his commitment to Cornell University on social media today.

The versatile 6-foot-3, 210-pound athlete has established himself as one of Eastern Pennsylvania’s top two-way performers, excelling at both wide receiver and defensive back. His combination of size, athleticism, football IQ, and physical play made him one of the most sought-after prospects in the region before ultimately choosing the Big Red.

West’s production on the field has consistently demonstrated his ability to impact games in all three phases. Whether making plays in the passing game, creating turnovers on defense, or contributing on special teams, he has been a cornerstone of North Pocono’s success and one of the premier athletes in District 2.

North Pocono head coach Greg Dolhon talks about Cole.

“Cole is the ultimate playmaker all over the field for us. At 6’3” and 210 pounds he brings power and speed. He is a generational talent, kid and student which we are thrilled to have returning. We will need his leadership as a senior and we expect growth in his game for 2026 season.”

West’s commitment reflects both his athletic ability and academic excellence, making Cornell an ideal fit. His leadership and playmaking ability will once again be counted on as the Trojans look to compete for championships during the upcoming season before he heads to Ithaca.
