Coach’s comment: Mekhi has been working extremely hard this season, particularly in the weight room which has led to him gaining 15 pounds of muscle. Mekhi will be moving from a hands down defensive end to an Edge/OLB. I believe with the extra weight and the change of position along with his ability to move and bend he has put himself in the position to be a potential scholarship level player. Mekhi is also a stellar student with a 3.6 GPA and is a leader on and off the field.
