Starting Experience: Started at Linebacker as a Freshman. As a Sophomore was a two way starter- Running Back and Linebacker

2019 Stats: 83 Rushing Carries for 618 yards for an average of 7.45 carries and 2 rushing touchdowns. 2 receptions for 21 yards and 1 receiving touchdown. Matt had 33 tackles and 2 sacks last season.

Coaches Comments: Matt broke onto the scene as an explosive player as a sophomore. He was our second leading rusher with 600 yards rushing and missed two games with an injury. Matt has the potential to be a 1000 yard rusher and has very good speed which matches well with his size and physicality. We believe Matt will have a huge impact for us at linebacker and is expected to be one of our leading tacklers.
