Coaches Comments: Lane Lusk has been a three-year starter for South.  He has made a huge positive impact on the team.  Lane is a hard worker in the classroom and on the field.  He has been outstanding at outside linebacker and full back for the Mounties.  This past year in the playoffs Lane had a 20-tackle game against a very big and physical Troy team.  He is the first player in the weight room and the last to leave each night.  He works on extra speed training and studies extra film.  Lane is an impressive young man that has scored a 1300 on his SATs.  We are expecting a lot out of Lane this year, and if he plays like years past it should be very exciting.  Leadership, loyalty, and dedication are words that come to mind when I think of Lane.
