Coach’s comment: Hayden is a young man who is quiet but leads by example. The gains he has made in the weight room have been very impressive. Although I did not coach him the past two years, I had the opportunity to work with him as a freshman, when he made an immediate impact as a starting linebacker.
He also contributed on every special teams unit. Hayden is definitely a linebacker who will make a statement for us, and I am also excited to watch him run the ball. He has made great progress over the past two years at running back, which will add excitement and depth to our backfield. I am looking forward to seeing him compete in the green and white again this season.
