@ ben, I also think D4 AA had a bit of a down year, which made mount carmel look better than they actually were. They’re regular season loss was to north schuylkill, who didn’t even make it past the first round of the D11 AA playoffs. that says something.

I agree with dylan and Mike… LC beat Wyo 21-14 on a touchdown with about 4 minutes left after trailing the whole 2nd half. Also, LC beat WC on a bad snap. Personally I think D7 is a tad overrated and D3 underrated. They have 3 of 4 teams in the state championship and 2 (Wilson who barely lost to CD and Wyo who barely lost to LC) could still be playing as well.

I agree with mike. I think west catholic should be the #3 team and wyomissing should be #5 or #6. I personally think wyo could have beaten mount carmel, had they been able to knock off lancaster catholic.

Josh, I seriously question your ranking thought process. Example 1: Lancaster Catholic beats West Catholic by a nose hair (I saw the game in person), and you rank West 5th? They could/should be the Eastern 2A rep, while LC beat Mount Carmel 21-0, but you rank MC 3rd???
Example 2: Same questions relate to LaSalle, which could very easily have been the 4A Eastern rep in Hershey this weekend. Ask the NP coaching staff how close they were to losing that game?
All the teams in the top five in each poll are very good, I just disagree with your order.

Why do you think MCA is still worthy of AA #3 when they got shut out by LC while WC (AA #5) took them to the wire (or Wyo, AA #9, who also gave LC a game)?
