Coach’s comment: Drew has established himself as one of the top defensive playmakers in the Ches-Mont League heading into his senior season. The 6-foot-3, 225-pound linebacker combines excellent size, physicality, and 4.75 speed to be a disruptive force at the second level. A two-year varsity starter at Kennett, Clancy earned First Team All-League and Honorable Mention All-District recognition after a standout 2025 campaign that saw him pile up 85 tackles, 20 tackles for loss, five forced fumbles, and three pass breakups.
His ability to diagnose plays, attack downhill, and create turnovers makes him a constant problem for opposing offenses. With his combination of production, toughness, and experience, Clancy is poised to be one of the premier linebackers to watch in Pennsylvania’s Class of 2027 this season.
