District 11 Top Returning Players – Week 13

DISTRICT 11 NOTES (week 13):  Everything is updated except the passing and receiving article sections.

RUNNINGBACKS: 

Cade Christopher of Northwestern rushed for 221 and a td in their win over North Schuylkill.  Christopher took over the District lead for rushing yardage and extended his lead for td’s scored.  He’s rushed for 1,821 yards and scored 29 td’s this season so far.  Christopher’s teammate Dalton Clymer scored 3 td’s last week and now has 21 on the season.  He also upped his rushing yardage to 1,348 yards.  The EPC had 3 players score 3 td’s in their wins last week.  Caiden Schaffer of Central Catholic scored 3 td’s vs Jersey Shore and now has 22 on the season.  Nigel Linton of Whitehall scored 3 td’s vs Delaware Valley last week and now has 25 on the season.  Trey Tremba scored 3 td’s vs Freedom and he has 26 total td’s this season.  Schaffer has 1,106 yards rushing this season, Linton has 1,394 yards and Tremba has 1,238 yards so far. Jalen Fletcher of Freedom ended his senior season with 1,422 yards rushing while scoring 26 td’s.  Fletcher’s yardage is the 4th highest at Freedom for  a single season.  Darrius Webb holds the school record with 1,741 yards that he rushed for in 2009.  Deante’ Crawford rushed for 1,719 yards last season and Ed Mateo rushed for 1,692 yards in 2008.  Fletcher’s 26 td’s ties him for the 2nd highest in school history.  Webb holds the record with 29 (2008) and Mateo scored 26 in 2009.   Jared Tinari of North Schuylkill ended his senior season rushing for 1,346 yards.  He’s the third District back to rush for that total this season.  Cade Sawyer of Southern Lehigh and Aiden Myers of Schuylkill Haven also ended the year with 1,346 rushing yards.  Nick Frame of Northern Lehigh went over 1,000 yards rushing last week and is the first Bulldog to rush and pass for 1,000 yards in the same season.  He has 1,039 yards rushing and 1,118 yards passing.
