The Georgia commit is ranked the fourth-best running back in the country by and the number one player in Pennsylvania. The 5-foot-9, 215-pound senior rushed for 1,564 yards on 149 carries and 25 touchdowns. He caught 21 passes for 405 yards and nine touchdowns.

“Swift is the complete back and our leader on the team. He can run and catch the ball and we moved him around a lot this year,” said Head Football Coach Gabe Infante.

Early in the season, Swift suffered a ankle injury against Archbishop Wood. He sat out a game and had no carries in the two other games. But then healthy Swift showed why he is one of the top backs in the nation. Against LaSalle College HS he rushed for 274 yards and scored seven touchdowns.

In the playoffs he even put it into high gear. Against Parkland he rushed for 318 yards and 268 yards against North Penn. When his team was down three going into the fourth quarter against North Penn, it was Swift’s time to dominate the fourth quarter. He seemed to turn it up a notch scoring three touchdowns in the fourth quarter. He had touchdown runs of 27, 12 and one.

“When number seven wants to go he goes,” said Infante. “He is a difference maker and he is that special. When he decides he wants to take over a game he does.”

In the State Finals he led Prep to their third state title in four years against Pittsburgh Central Catholic.
