Central Bucks East rising senior offensive lineman Dan Kirk announced his commitment back in June to Monmouth University, giving the Hawks another talented lineman from Pennsylvania’s deep pipeline of high school football talent.

Kirk, a 6-foot-4, 280-pound offensive tackle in the Class of 2027, chose Monmouth after an impressive recruiting process that included interest from several Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) programs. He announced his decision on social media, calling Monmouth the place where he wants to continue both his academic and football careers.

The Central Bucks East standout has developed into one of the premier offensive linemen in District 1. A three-year varsity starter, Kirk has earned recognition for his combination of size, athleticism, and technical ability. During the 2025 season, he allowed zero sacks, recorded 22 pancake blocks, and also made an impact on the defensive side of the ball with 13.5 tackles for loss while earning All-League honors.

Central Bucks East head coach John Donnelly talked about Dan heading into the 2026 season.

“Dan is an excellent athlete for his size. He has great feet and technique. Dan had 13.5 TFL’s, allowed 0 sacks, and helped pave the way for our rushing attack with 22 pancake blocks. Dan will anchor both trenches for us and demonstrate strong leadership for those units. Dan is one of the top big men in District One and the Eastern part of the state.”

Kirk’s ability to play both offensive tackle and defensive end, combined with his footwork and mobility, made him an attractive prospect for college coaches. His length, balance, and movement skills have consistently stood out on film, projecting him as a player with significant upside at the next level.

While Monmouth has secured Kirk’s commitment, Central Bucks East fans will still have one more season to watch the talented lineman. He is expected to anchor the Patriots’ offensive line while also continuing to be a disruptive force on defense during the 2026 season.
