Coach’s Comment: Bentley put together a strong freshman campaign before a season-ending injury unfortunately cut his year short. From Week 4 through Week 8, he stepped into the role of our feature back and continued to grow with each game. What stood out most was his vision and instincts as a young player, along with his willingness to run through contact and compete physically. He rarely lost yardage and consistently found ways to keep plays moving forward.
In addition to his production on the field, Bentley showed a tremendous understanding of our offense for such a young player. His combination of football IQ, toughness, and natural ability gives us great excitement for what his future can be in our program.
