Tonight at Kottmeyer Stadium, the Whippets of Downingtown West dispatched winless Spring Ford, by a 30-0 score.
It was not always easy, as the Whippets overcame three Cole Bricker interceptions to lay claim to a 10-0 lead at halftime.
Omari Cannon and Mason Sharp were the main bright spots for Wests offense tonight- Cannon ran for 133 yards and two touchdowns, and Mason Sharp kicked a 38 yard field goal to close out the first half.
Cole Bricker was 11 of 18 passing for 125 yards on the night.
Defensively, the Whippets suffocated and slowly throttled Spring Ford’s offense all night. The Rams managed 37 yards passing on 7-18, and 63 yards on the ground.
