2025 Outlook: We lost several key starters to graduation, but despite the turnover we as a coaching staff remain optimistic about who we have ready to step up.
Offense: Offensively our all-everything running back Isaiah Zimmerman returns to lead the way. He’s led our team all off-season in the weightroom, during spring ball, and all summer. He’s the focal point of our offense without a doubt. Quarterback job is a close competition between Kai Speaks & Steven Reyes. Both have been battling all summer to run the offense and both have made tremendous strides. Our O-Line replaces 6 of our top 7 players from last year, but several guys have stepped up to fill the shoes left by last year’s O-line.
Defense: Defensively we return our two inside linebackers who tallied over 120 tackles each last year in Landyn Kline and Garrett Starry, who are finally fully healthy. In addition, Wyatt Fox who tallied 19 tackles for loss last year and over 30 QB hurries returns at defensive end as well as Luke Oriel who had 6 interceptions last year at CB. Several new faces up front have stepped up and had great springs/summers so far including Jackson Chernich, Conner McCracken, and Caden Wolfe. In the secondary we expect big things from Eli Beard at safety as well as Landen Weaber at the other CB spot.
Special Teams: Lots of new faces will be battling for our place kicker and punter jobs.
