Head Coach Robert Miller Q&A

Q. What are the key things we should know about your offense?

A. Offensively we return Jeff Martin who had 1000 yards passing his freshman season and 2000+yards as a sophomore. So we hope to build upon that.

We have a few returning linemen to help keep him upright and a raw group of skill players who show great potential. Pat Adams, Nate Hostetter and Colt Umberger are returning starters.

Dustin Miller returns at wide receiver.

Q. What are the key things we should know about your defense?

A. Defensively we will have to improve all around. Our roster was so thin last season that we had many guys going two ways. Hopefully the number of players this season increases and we can begin to build depth and experience that will tighten things up for us on the defensive side of the ball.

Tyler Horst has potential to anchor the defense from the linebacker spot.

Also keep an eye on two defensive ends, Ryan Rolon and Nate Hostetter.

Q. What are the key things we should know about your special teams? Who are your kick and punt returners? Who are your kicker and punter?

A. We have Dustin Miller back to punt and a slew of yet to be determined returners, punter and snapper.

It’ll take us through camp to figure that out.
