Written by: David Mika on Thursday, September 2nd, 2010Before the Ridley Green Raiders felled North Penn in the District 1 AAAA title game, the Knights were ranked 11th in the nation by the USA-Today.  The Knights finished 13-1 overall, but have to find a replacement for reliable senior field general Todd Smolinsky (1,600+ passing yards). RBs Craig Needhammer and Brandon Mercer return, as do featured WRs Dom Taggart and Ralph Reeves. Reeves, only a junior, is already generating quite the amount of Division-1 interest as a linebacker. Defensively, North Penn held eight of 14 opponents to seven points or less, with a pair of shutouts, and averaged 34.6 points per game.
