Dan Chang named Plymouth Whitemarsh coach

Chang was an assistant for five seasons at North Penn HS. He was their offensive and defensive lineman coach. Chang became one of the youngest head coaches at 26.

He played at North Penn as a center and defensive end from 1997 to 2000. Chang is a health and Physical-Education teacher at Colonial Middle School.

Chang takes over for John Staudenmayer, who coached for four seasons. Staudenmayer went 14-30 before resigning last month.
