Adam Fuedale, Junior FB, Southern Columbia – The Tigers’ leading returning rusher from its PIAA A runner-up team last season, Fuedale ran for more than 350 yards and scored six touchdowns as SCA’s fifth-leading rusher in a ground attack which averaged more than 300 yards per game entering the PIAA finals.

Adam Novak, Senior WR/DB, Central Columbia – An all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-II selection at defensive back, Novak finished his junior season with 33 tackles (28 solo), a team-leading four interceptions (which tied for the lead, actually), six deflected passes and a forced fumble, averaging 3.3 tackles per game.  He also caught 20 passes for 252 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 12.6 yards per reception.

Alec Walter, Senior ATH, Hughesville – The Spartans’ third-leading rusher last season, Walter posted 352 yards and two touchdowns on 79 carries, averaging 4.5 yards per carry.  He also returned 24 kickoffs for 382 yards, averaging 15.9 yards per return and recorded 11 tackles and two fumble recoveries on defense.

Alex Shiber, Senior OG/DE, Central Columbia – Shiber helped to pave the way for a Blue Jay offensive arsenal which averaged 232.3 yards (152.3 passing, 80 rushing) and 16.5 points per game, producing an 1,100-yard passer while scoring 24 total offensive touchdowns (13 passing, 11 rushing).  Defensively, he added 51 tackles (39 solo), 2.5 sacks and a blocked field goal, averaging 5.1 tackles per game.

Andrew Hasuga, Senior TE/LB, Shamokin – The Indians’ top returning tackler from a team which claimed the District 4 AAA championship and berth in the PIAA AAA quarterfinals opposite Allentown Central Catholic, Hasuga tallied 100 tackles and three sacks, averaging 7.1 tackles per game.  He also caught seven passes for 77 yards and three touchdowns, averaging 11 yards per reception on offense for the Indians.

Andrew Nash, Senior RB/DB, Lewisburg – A returning presence in the Green Dragons’ defensive backfield, Nash finished with 21 tackles, a team-leading four interceptions and nine deflected passes, averaging 1.9 tackles per game.

Anthony Anonia, Senior RB, Shamokin – The Indians’ No. 2 rusher in 2011, Anonia ran for 381 yards and three touchdowns on 105 carries, averaging 3.6 yards per carry.

Austin Benedict, Senior OL/DL, Hughesville – An all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-III selection along the offensive line, Benedict helped to pave the way for a Spartan offensive unit which averaged 247.9 yards (215.2 rushing, 32.7 passing) and 16.5 points per game, producing two 600+-yard rushers while scoring 24 total offensive touchdowns (21 rushing, three passing).

Austin Fiedler, Senior OL/DL, Warrior Run – An all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-III selection along both the offensive and defensive line, Fiedler helped to pave the way for a Defender offensive unit which averaged 16.2 points per game.

Austin Steen, Junior OL/DL, Lewisburg – Steen helped to pave the way for a Green Dragon offensive unit which averaged 32.2 points per game en route to a 9-3 overall record and berth in the District 4 AA semifinals opposite Mount Carmel.

Ben Shaw, Senior QB/DB, Wellsboro – A dual-threat athlete at the helm of the Hornets’ offensive arsenal, Shaw amassed 1,206 yards of total offense (914 passing, 292 rushing) and accounted for six total Green Hornet touchdowns (four rushing, two passing) while completing 84-of-197 passes (42.6 percent) and averaging 2.8 yards per carry on 105 rushes.  He threw for 100+ yards in five of Wellsboro’s 10 games and, to date, has thrown for 2,388 yards in his career.  He also chipped in with 42 tackles (30 solo), three interceptions and two deflected passes on defense.

Bill Kepner, Senior OL/DL, South Williamsport – Kepner, an all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-III selection along the defensive line, helped to pave the way for a Mountaineer offensive unit which averaged 18.6 points per game in 2011.

Blair Snyder, Senior OG/DT, Montgomery – Snyder helped to pave the way for a Red Raider offensive unit which averaged 173.2 yards (108.6 rushing, 64.6 passing) and 11 points per game, producing a 600-yard passer and two 300-yard rushers while scoring 14 total offensive touchdowns (11 rushing, three passing).  Defensively, Snyder chipped in with 58 tackles (34 solo), a deflected pass and a fumble recovery, averaging 5.8 tackles per game.

Bobby Beierschmitt, Senior OL/DL, Mount Carmel Area – Beierschmitt helped to pave the way for a Mount Carmel offensive unit which averaged 313.9 yards (227.1 rushing, 86.8 passing) and 26.9 points per game en route to a 12-2 overall record, District 4 AA championship and berth in the PIAA AA quarterfinals opposite Lancaster Catholic, producing two 1,000-yard rushers and a 730-yard passer while scoring 51 total offensive touchdowns (38 rushing, 13 passing).

Brad Sampson, Senior WR/DE, Athens – One of the Wildcats’ two featured receivers last season, Sampson enjoyed quite a bit of success, hauling in 25 passes for 407 yards and nine touchdowns, averaging 16.3 yards per reception while posting one 100-yard receiving performance. 

Brady Chappell, Junior QB/DB, Milton Area – Entering his third season as a varsity starter for the Black Panthers, Chappell helped lead Milton to a six-game winning streak and berth in the District 4 AAA championship game opposite Shamokin.  The Black Panthers averaged 23.4 points per game.

Brandon Batman, Senior RB/DB, Lewisburg – A returning presence in the Green Dragon defensive backfield, Batman tallied 28 tackles, two interceptions and five deflected passes, averaging 2.5 tackles per game.

Brandon Smith, Senior TE/LB, Lewisburg – A Pennsylvania Sportswriters’ Class AA All-state selection at linebacker, Smith anchored a Lewisburg defensive unit which helped the team reach the District 4 AA semifinals by tallying 135 tackles, 4.5 sacks, three interceptions, four deflected passes, a forced fumble and two fumble recoveries, averaging 11.3 tackles per game while posting a 20-tackle game against archrival Mifflinburg.  Smith was also the Green Dragons’ featured receiver and factored in the ground game, too, over the second half of the season due to injury to career 3,600-yard rusher Merle Moscarello.

Brent Buss, Senior OT/LB, Montgomery – An all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-III selection at linebacker, Buss rang up 115 tackles (79 solo), two sacks, two deflected passes and two fumble recoveries, averaging 11.5 tackles per game while finishing seven of 10 Red Raider games with 10+ tackles. Buss also helped to pave the way for a Red Raider offensive unit which averaged 173.2 yards (108.6 rushing, 64.6 passing) and 11 points per game, producing a 600-yard passer and two 300-yard rushers while scoring 14 total offensive touchdowns (11 rushing, three passing). 

Brett Berg, Senior WR/DB, Danville – Berg marks a key, two-way presence returning for the Ironmen after hauling in 18 passes for 364 yards and five touchdowns, averaging 20.2 yards per reception while posting a season-best 146 receiving yards in a District 4 AA quarterfinal against Towanda.  Defensively, Berg tallied 44 tackles (31 solo), two interceptions and four deflected passes, averaging four tackles per game.  He also returned a combined 26 kickoffs/punts for 443 yards, averaging 14.9 yards per punt return and 24.2 yards per kick return.

Bryce Parry, Senior SE/DB, Southern Columbia – Parry was a contributor to a Tiger defensive unit which allowed an average of 16.8 points per game, limiting eight of 16 opponents to 17 points or less, with three shutouts.

Cale Rice, Senior WR/KR, Danville – Primarily a kick return specialist for the Ironmen, Rice returned 11 kickoffs for 382 yards and one touchdown, averaging 34.7 yards per return.  He also totaled 17 tackles (12 solo), an interception and five deflected passes and caught seven passes for 125 yards offensively, averaging 17.9 yards per reception.

Cameron McHenry, Senior RB/DE, Montgomery – A multi-purpose weapon out of the backfield for the Red Raiders, McHenry ran for 380 yards on 93 carries and caught another 29 passes for 414 yards, averaging 4.1 yards per carry and 14.3 yards per reception while scoring eight total touchdowns (five rushing, three receiving).  He posted a career-best 225 receiving yards asiongainst Wellsboro.  Defensively, McHenry, an all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-III selection at defensive back, totaled 62 tackles, two interceptions, four deflected passes and a blocked field goal, averaging 6.2 tackles per game.

Cameron Karschner, Senior WR/DB, Montoursville – The only Warrior to finish with double-digit receptions last season, Karschner, an all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-II pick at wide receiver, hauled in 39 passes for 604 yards and four touchdowns, averaging 15.5 yards per reception while posting a pair of 100+-yard games against Shamokin and Hughesville.  He also added 35 tackles, an interception and a deflected pass on defense.

Cameron Ott, Junior RB/OLB, Montoursville – An all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-II selection, Ott was a force at linebacker for the Warriors, totaling 91 tackles (48 solo), four sacks, a deflected pass, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery, averaging 11.4 tackles per game while finishing each of his eight games with no fewer than 10 tackles.  He also ran for 170 yards on 28 carries and caught another nine passes for 174 yards, averaging 6.1 yards per carry and 19.3 yards per reception while scoring three total touchdowns (two rushing, one receiving).

Chris Makley, Senior OL/DL, North Penn-Blossburg – Mackley helped to pave the way for a Panther offensive unit which averaged 319.8 yards (222.4 rushing, 97.4 passing) and 31.6 points per game en route to an 8-4 overall record and Eastern Conference AA championship victory over Tamaqua, producing a 1,600-yard rusher and 1,000-yard passer while scoring 47 total offensive touchdowns (31 rushing, 16 passing).

Chris Thomas, Senior OT/DT, Montgomery – Thomas helped to pave the way for a Red Raider offensive unit which averaged 173.2 yards (108.6 rushing, 64.6 passing) and 11 points per game, producing a 600-yard passer and two 300-yard rushers while scoring 14 total offensive touchdowns (11 rushing, three passing).  Defensively, he collected 19 tackles (14 solo), two sacks and a blocked field goal, averaging 1.9 tackles per game.

Christian Kelley, Sophomore TE/DE, Mount Carmel Area – Kelley made his presence known along the Red Tornado defensive line by totaling 26 tackles, one sack, a forced fumble and two fumble recoveries in his freshman season, averaging two tackles per game.

Clay Stoner, Senior RB/OLB, Montoursville – An all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-II selection at linebacker, Stoner finished with 77 tackles (41 solo), two sacks, an interception and a blocked field goal, averaging 9.6 tackles per game.  He also was the team’s featured running back, totaling 479 yards and three touchdowns on 73 carries and catching nine passes for 84 yards, averaging 6.6 yards per carry and 9.3 yards per reception.

Cody Chilcot, Junior OL/DL, Montoursville – An all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-II selection along the offensive line, Chilcot helped to pave the way for a Warrior offensive unit which averaged 235.4 yards (119.4 rushing, 116 passing) and 16.5 points per game en route to a 6-5 record and berth in the District 4 AA quarterfinals opposite Mount Carmel, producing a 960-yard passer and 470-yard rusher while scoring 20 total offensive touchdowns (12 rushing, eight passing).

Cody McCracken, Senior OL/DL, Loyalsock Township – An all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-II selection along the defensive line, McCracken tallied 49 tackles (32 solo), averaging 4.9 tackles per game for the Lancers. 

Colt Young, Senior LB, South Williamsport – Young was an all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-III pick at linebacker for the Mountaineers.

Connor Coolidge, Senior OL/LB, Wellsboro – Coolidge posted 34 tackles (18 solo) and a fumble recovery for the Hornets, averaging 3.4 tackles per game.

Curt Moore, Senior TE/DE, Athens – Moore pulled off a feat hardly seen anymore – he caught five passes for 108 yards and five touchdowns (yes, all five of his receptions were touchdowns), averaging 21.6 yards per reception.

Curtis Banasiak, Junior WR/DB, Selinsgrove – Banasiak finished his sophomore season for the Seals by tallying 51 tackles, two interceptions, two deflected passes and a forced fumble, averaging 5.7 tackles per game.

Dain Kowalski, Junior RB/MLB, Central Columbia – The Blue Jays’ leading returning rusher from 2011, Kowalski finished with 215 yards on 30 carries and caught four passes for 15 yards, averaging 7.2 yards per carry and 3.8 yards per reception while scoring three total touchdowns (two rushing, one receiving). 

Dan Sangina, Senior TE/DL, Wellsboro – One of the Hornets’ featured receivers last season, Sangina hauled in a team-leading 21 passes for 278 yards and one touchdown, averaging 13.2 yards per reception.  Defensively, he added 24 tackles (18 solo), a sack, two deflected passes and three forced fumbles, averaging 2.4 tackles per game.

Daniel Danowsky, Senior WR/S, Mifflinburg – An all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-1 selection at defensive back, Danowsky totaled 28 tackles (22 solo), an interception and nine deflected passes, averaging 2.5 tackles per game.  He also recorded 92 yards rushing on 19 carries and returned 10 kickoffs for 209 yards, averaging 4.8 yards per carry and 20.9 yards per kick return.

Daniel Lesko, Senior FB/DE, Mount Carmel Area – Lesko returns to his position along the Mount Carmel defensive line after totaling 56 tackles, three sacks, an interception and three deflected passes, averaging 4.3 tackles per game for the District 4 AA champs.

Dave Canfield, Senior DEF, Towanda – One of the Black Knights’ leading sackers from a season ago, Canfield totaled 57 tackles (41 solo), six sacks, a deflected pass and two forced fumbles, averaging 5.7 tackles per game for the District 4 AA semifinalists.

Devante Oliver, Senior OL/DL, Hughesville – An all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-III selection along the offensive line, Oliver helped to pave the way for a Spartan offensive unit which averaged 247.9 yards (215.2 rushing, 32.7 passing) and 16.5 points per game, producing two 600+-yard rushers while scoring 24 total offensive touchdowns (21 rushing, three passing).

Devin Miller, Senior RB/DB, Williamsport – The Millionaires’ leading returning rusher, Miller posted 1,062 yards and eight touchdowns on 228 carries, averaging 4.7 yards per carry.  He has run for 2,196 yards to date in his career for Williamsport.

Draven Miller, Junior RB, Shamokin – The Indians’ featured running back from its District 4 AAA championship team last season, Miller ran for 822 yards and nine touchdowns on 158 carries, averaging 5.2 yards per carry.

Dustin Mertz, Senior WR/CB, Mifflinburg – An all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-1 selection at defensive back, Mertz chalked up 35 tackles (31 solo), an interception and six deflected passes for the Wildcats, averaging 3.2 tackles per game.  Mertz also was one of two Wildcat athletes with 10+ receptions, hauling in 15 passes for 268 yards and three touchdowns, averaging 17.9 yards per reception.

Dylan Hine, Senior WR/OLB/K, Central Columbia – An all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-II selection at kicker, Hine converted 11 extra points and one field goal, booted one of his 19 kickoffs (5.3 percent) for touchbacks and averaged 31.6 yards per punt on 44 boots, with four (9.1 percent) downed inside the 20 yard line.  Hine also served as one of the primary passing targets in a Blue Jay aerial assault which averaged 152 yards per game, snagging 23 passes for 322 yards and a touchdown, averaging 14 yards per reception.  He also recorded 42 tackles (29 solo) and three sacks defensively.

Eric Haney, Junior FB/LB, Danville – An all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-1 selection at linebacker, Haney finished his sophomore season as Danville’s leading tackler, posting 110 tackles (67 solo), four sacks, a deflected pass, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery, averaging 10 tackles per game, finishing six of 11 games with 10+ tackles. 

Eric Joraskie, Senior OL/DL, Mount Carmel Area – A Northwestern recruit, Joraskie helped to pave the way for a Mount Carmel offensive unit which averaged 313.9 yards (227.1 rushing, 86.8 passing) and 26.9 points per game en route to a 12-2 overall record, District 4 AA championship and berth in the PIAA AA quarterfinals opposite Lancaster Catholic, producing two 1,000-yard rushers and a 730-yard passer while scoring 51 total offensive touchdowns (38 rushing, 13 passing).  Defensively, Joraskie earned a Pennsylvania Sportswriters’ Class AA All-State selection on the defensive line by registering 70 tackles, nine sacks, three deflected passes and a fumble recovery, averaging five tackles per game.

Eric McCracken, Senior FB/LB, Central Columbia – An all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-II selection at linebacker, McCracken tallied 69 tackles (45 solo), a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and a blocked field goal, averaging 6.9 tackles per game for the Jays.  He also ran for 125 yards and one touchdown on 44 carries, averaging 2.8 yards per rush.

Eric Tokarz, Senior OL/DL, Montoursville – Tokarz helped to pave the way for a Warrior offensive unit which averaged 235.4 yards (119.4 rushing, 116 passing) and 16.5 points per game en route to a 6-5 record and berth in the District 4 AA quarterfinals opposite Mount Carmel, producing a 960-yard passer and 470-yard rusher while scoring 20 total offensive touchdowns (12 rushing, eight passing). Defensively, Tokarz added 56 tackles (30 solo) and a sack, averaging seven tackles per game, earning an all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-II nod along the defensive line.

Evan Ball, Junior RB/LB, Bloomsburg – Ball was an all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-III selection at running back for the Panthers in 2011.

Garrett Evans, Junior RB/DL, Montoursville – Evans finished his junior season with 49 tackles (28 solo), five sacks and a deflected pass, averaging 6.1 tackles per game for the Warriors, who reached the District 4 AA quarterfinals opposite Mount Carmel.

Garrett Moser, Senior QB/DB, Warrior Run – Moser was an all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-III selection at quarterback, helping lead a Defender offensive unit which averaged 16.2 points per game.

Gary Grayeski, Senior DL, Mount Carmel Area – Grayeski posted 31 tackles, two sacks and a fumble recovery last season, averaging 2.4 tackles per game for the Red Tornadoes.

Harley Stahl, Senior OL/DL, Selinsgrove – Stahl, an  all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-1 selection on the defensive line, totaled 43 tackles, three sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery, averaging 4.3 tackles per game for the Seals.

Hunter Kantz, Senior WR/DB, Selinsgrove – Kantz finished his junior season by totaling 57 tackles and an interception, averaging 5.7 tackles per game for the Seals while posting a pair of 10+-tackle games against Danville and Shamokin.  He also hauled in 13 passes for 184 yards and a touchdown, averaging 14.2 yards per reception.

Ian Ficca, Junior OL/DL, Danville – Ficca helped to pave the way for a Danville offensive arsenal which averaged 321.9 yards (187.8 rushing, 134.1 passing) and 28.1 points per game, producing an 1,100-yard rusher and 1,400-yard passer while scoring 41 total offensive touchdowns (24 rushing, 17 passing).

Isaiah Croll, Junior HB/LB, Danville – The No. 2 rusher in Danville’s offensive arsenal last season, Croll ran for 501 yards and six touchdowns on 73 carries and caught two passes for 13 yards, averaging 6.9 yards per carry and 6.5 yards per reception.  He also chipped in with 34 tackles (19 solo) and a fumble recovery on defense.

Jace Parcell, Senior OT/DT, Central Columbia – Parcell helped to pave the way for a Blue Jay offensive arsenal which averaged 232.3 yards (152.3 passing, 80 rushing) and 16.5 points per game, producing an 1,100-yard passer while scoring 24 total offensive touchdowns (13 passing, 11 rushing).  Defensively, he added 26 tackles (13 solo), a sack and a deflected pass, averaging 2.6 tackles per game.

Jake Becker, Senior TE/DL, Southern Columbia – Becker, an all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-II selection at tight end, was primarily a blocker in a Tiger offensive arsenal which averaged 41.1 points per game and reached the PIAA A championship game opposite Clairton.  He also caught four passes for 138 yards, averaging 34.5 yards per reception.

Jake Colburn, Senior OL/LB, Muncy – An all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-III selection at both offensive line and linebacker, Colburn helped to pave the way for an Indian offensive unit which averaged 202.4 yards (132.1 rushing, 70.3 passing) and 10.2 points per game, producing a 480-yard rusher and 430-yard passer while scoring 14 total offensive touchdowns (eight rushing, six passing).  He also added 107 tackles (71 solo), 3.5 sacks, two deflected passes and two fumble recoveries, averaging 10.7 tackles per game.

Jake Klinger, Junior OT/DT, Central Columbia – An all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-II selection along the offensive line, Klinger helped to pave the way for a Blue Jay offensive arsenal which averaged 232.3 yards (152.3 passing, 80 rushing) and 16.5 points per game, producing an 1,100-yard passer while scoring 24 total offensive touchdowns (13 passing, 11 rushing).  Defensively, he added 30 tackles (21 solo) and a sack, averaging three tackles per game.

Jed Wright, Junior ATH, Troy – A multi-purpose weapon out of the backfield for the Trojans, Wright ran for 672 yards on 101 carries and caught another 19 passes for 275 yards, averaging 6.7 yards per carry and 14.5 yards per reception while scoring nine total touchdowns (seven rushing, two receiving).  He posted two 100-yard rushing games and one 100-yard receiving game.  Defensively, he added 49 tackles, and, on special teams, Wright returned a combined 25 kickoffs/punts for 462 yards, averaging 17.8 yards per punt return and 19.1 yards per kickoff return.

Jeff Dincher, Senior WR/DE, Jersey Shore – An all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-1 selection at wide receiver, Dincher caught 13 passes for 205 yards and three touchdowns, averaging 15.8 yards per reception while posting a 111-yard, two-touchdown performance against Milton.  Defensively, Dincher chipped in with 39 tackles (27 solo), two sacks and a deflected pass, averaging 3.9 tackles per game.

Jeff Scott, Senior DEF, Muncy – Scott recorded 58 tackles (36 solo) for the Indians, averaging 6.4 tackles per game.

Joe Kleman, Senior SE/DB, Southern Columbia – Kleman was a contributor to a Tiger defensive unit which allowed an average of 16.8 points per game, limiting eight of 16 opponents to 17 points or less, with three shutouts.

Joey Daniello, Senior DEF, Towanda – The leading returning tackler from a Black Knight defensive unit which allowed an average of 12.8 points per game last season, Daniello tallied 69 tackles (50 solo),

six sacks, two deflected passes, two fumble recoveries and a blocked field goal, averaging 6.3 tackles per game.  He posted 11 tackles against Danville in the District 4 Class AA quarterfinals.

John Klingerman, Senior WR/DB, Bloomsburg – An all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-III selection at wide receiver and defensive back, Klingerman had quite the solid junior season, hauling in 48 passes for 1,150 yards and 12 touchdowns, averaging 23.9 yards per reception.  In his career to date, Klingerman has hauled in 127 passes for 2,679 yards and 34 TDs.

Jordan Thivierge, Senior QB/CB, Central Columbia – Thivierge emerged as the Blue Jays’ field general halfway through the season, and he blossomed in the role, completing 71-of-154 passes (46.1 percent) for 1,140 yards and 11 touchdowns against nine interceptions.  He blew out of the gates, throwing for 605 yards and seven touchdowns in his first two starts against Shikellamy and Mount Carmel.  He also ran for 122 yards on 54 carries, averaging 2.4 yards per carry.

Josh Trip, Junior OL/DL, Southern Columbia – Trip helped to pave the way for a Tiger offensive unit which averaged 41.1 points per game en route to a 14-2 overall record, District 4 A championship and berth in the PIAA A championship game opposite Clairton, producing two 1,300+-yard rushers and a 1,700-yard passing quarterback.

Joey Gardner, Senior RB/LB, Lewisburg – A returning presence at linebacker for the Green Dragons, Gardner posted 48 tackles, an interception and a deflected pass, averaging 4.3 tackles per game for the District 4 AA semifinalists.

Josie Hendricks, Junior OL/DL, Lewisburg – Hendricks helped to pave the way for a Green Dragon offensive unit which averaged 32.2 points per game en route to a 9-3 overall record and berth in the District 4 AA semifinals opposite Mount Carmel.

Justin Hunsinger, Senior DEF, Towanda – Hunsinger tallied 40 tackles (27 solo) and five sacks for the Black Knights, averaging five tackles per game while tallying a three-sack performance against Wellsboro.

Justin Knee, Senior OL/LB/K, South Williamsport – Knee accomplished a rare feat in 2011, earning an all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-III nod at three positions – offensive line, linebacker and kicker.

Kenny Rothermel, Senior DB, Line Mountain – Rothermel was a force for the Eagles defensively, racking up 101 tackles, 3.5 sacks, an interception and four fumble recoveries, averaging 8.4 tackles per game for the District 4 A runners-up.

Kevin Gross, Senior OL/DL, Bloomsburg – Gross, an all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-III selection along the defensive line, helped to pave the way for a Panther offensive unit which averaged 36.5 points per game and reached the District 4 AA championship game opposite Mount Carmel.

Kyle Datres, Sophomore QB/DB, Loyalsock Township – Datres was the Lancers’ leading tackler last season, earning an all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-II nod at defensive back after collecting 81 tackles (69 solo), a team-best three interceptions and a fumble recovery, averaging 8.1 tackles per game.  He also ran for 64 yards on 12 carries and caught two passes for 19 yards, averaging 5.3 yards per carry and 9.5 yards per reception.

Kyle Failor, Senior QB, Mifflinburg – A dual-threat athlete at the helm of the Wildcats’ offensive arsenal, Failor was thrust into the starting role due to injury and led Mifflinburg to an eight-win season and berth in the District 4 AA quarterfinals by amassing 1,017 yards of total offense (633 passing, 384 rushing) and accounting for 10 total Wildcat touchdowns (five passing, five rushing), completing 45-of-104 passes (43.3 percent) and averaging 3.9 yards per carry on 95 rushes.  He passed for 100+ yards in one game and ran for a career-best 140 yards in the D4 quarterfinals against Bloomsburg.

Kyle Santorine, Senior OL/DL, Lewisburg – An all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-II selection along the offensive line, Steen helped to pave the way for a Green Dragon offensive unit which averaged 32.2 points per game en route to a 9-3 overall record and berth in the District 4 AA semifinals opposite Mount Carmel.

Luke Forrestal, Senior WR/DE, Montgomery – Forrestal tallied 68 tackles (44 solo) and three sacks for the Red Raiders in his junior season, averaging 7.6 tackles per game while posting a trio of games with 10+ tackles.

Luke Klingerman, Senior RB/DB, Mount Carmel Area – The Red Tornadoes’ leading returning rusher, Klingerman posted 290 yards and a touchdown on 36 carries, averaging 8.1 yards per rush.  He also chipped in defensively with 36 tackles, one interception and four deflected passes.

Luke Smith, Junior RB/LB, Lewisburg – Smith finished his sophomore season by tallying 62 tackles, two sacks, an interception, seven deflected passes and a fumble recovery, averaging 5.6 tackles per game for the Green Dragons.

Marco Estrella, Senior OL/DL, South Williamsport – Estrella, an all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-III selection along the offensive line, helped to pave the way for a Mountaineer offensive unit which averaged 18.6 points per game in 2011.

Mark Drumm, Senior OL/DL, Bloomsburg – Drumm, an all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-III selection along the offensive and defensive line, helped to pave the way for a Panther offensive unit which averaged 36.5 points per game and reached the District 4 AA championship game opposite Mount Carmel.

Mason Fausnaught, Senior OL/DL, Danville – Fausnaught helped to pave the way for a Danville offensive arsenal which averaged 321.9 yards (187.8 rushing, 134.1 passing) and 28.1 points per game, producing an 1,100-yard rusher and 1,400-yard passer while scoring 41 total offensive touchdowns (24 rushing, 17 passing).

Matt Krezmer, Senior RB/OLB, Montoursville – Krezmer finished with 59 tackles (32 solo) and four sacks for the Warriors, averaging 7.4 tackles per game.  He also ran for 193 yards and four touchdowns on 43 carries and caught another three passes for 38 yards, averaging 4.5 yards per carry and 12.7 yards per reception.

Matthew Boone, Sophomore QB/FS, Montgomery – Montgomery’s No. 2 rusher in 2011, Boone finished his first career varsity season by running for 335 yards on 71 carries and catching another 10 passes for 109 yards, averaging 4.7 yards per carry and 10.9 yards per reception while scoring three rushing touchdowns.

Michael Berger, Junior RB/LB, Lewisburg – Berger finished his sophomore season with 70 tackles, a sack, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery, averaging 5.8 tackles per game for the Green Dragons.

Michael Wiand, Senior TE/LB, Mifflinburg – A potential collegiate prospect in the 2013 recruiting class at linebacker, Wiand has generated interest from programs like Bucknell, Lafayette, Monmouth and Temple, among others.  An all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-1 pick at running back Wiand was the Wildcats’ leading rusher, posting 523 yards on 128 carries and hauling in another nine passes for 65 yards, averaging 4.1 yards per carry and 7.2 yards per reception while scoring seven total touchdowns (six rushing, one receiving).  He was also a force defensively, totaling 45 tackles (27 solo), three sacks, an interception, five deflected passes and a fumble recovery, averaging 4.1 tackles per game.

Michael Yucha, Senior OL/DL, Shamokin – An all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-1 selection along the offensive line, Yucha helped to pave the way for an Indian offensive arsenal which averaged 20 points per game and claimed the District 4 AAA championship and advanced to the PIAA AAA quarterfinals opposite Allentown Central Catholic, producing an 820-yard rusher and 1,000-yard passer while scoring 30 total offensive touchdowns (21 rushing, nine passing).

Mickey Haller, Junior WR/DB, Loyalsock Township – Haller finished with 57 tackles (40 solo), two sacks and a fumble recovery, averaging 5.7 tackles per game for the Lancers.

Mike Dougherty, Senior RB/S, Loyalsock Township – Dougherty earned an all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-II selection at defensive back after totaling 73 tackles (60 solo), an interception and a fumble recovery, averaging 7.3 tackles per game for the Lancers.  He also ran for 303 yards and three touchdowns on 69 carries and caught another seven passes for 65 yards, averaging 4.4 yards per carry and 9.3 yards per rush.

Mike Ede, Senior RB/LB, Selinsgrove – One of Selinsgrove’s presences at linebacker last season, Ede tallied 58 tackles, four sacks and a fumble recovery, averaging 5.8 tackles per game.  He also ran for 214 yards on 64 carries and caught another four passes for 55 yards, averaging 3.3 yards per carry and 13.8 yards per reception, while scoring two rushing touchdowns.

Mike Gilger, Junior RB/DB, Mount Carmel Area – Gilger had an impact in the Red Tornado defensive secondary last season, totaling 33 tackles, a half a sack, three interceptions and two deflected passes, averaging 2.5 tackles per game.

Mike Scicchitano, Senior OL/DL, Mount Carmel Area – Scicchitano helped to pave the way for a Mount Carmel offensive unit which averaged 313.9 yards (227.1 rushing, 86.8 passing) and 26.9 points per game en route to a 12-2 overall record, District 4 AA championship and berth in the PIAA AA quarterfinals opposite Lancaster Catholic, producing two 1,000-yard rushers and a 730-yard passer while scoring 51 total offensive touchdowns (38 rushing, 13 passing).

Mike Walter, Senior RB/LB, Selinsgrove – One of the Seals’ top tacklers on defense a season ago, Walter, an all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-1 pick at linebacker, posted 64 tackles, 2.5 sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery, averaging 7.1 tackles per game to go along with two games of 11+ tackles.

Nathan Hughes, Senior TE/DE, Central Columbia – One of the weapons in Central Columbia’s aerial assault which averaged 152 yards per game, Hughes caught six passes for 110 yards and three touchdowns, averaging 18.3 yards per reception.  Defensively, he chipped in with 14 tackles and a deflected pass.

Nazar Mironenko, Junior OL/DL, Mifflinburg – An all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-1 selection along both the offensive and defensive line and a defending PIAA AA champion wrestler at heavyweight, Mironenko served as the anchor of a Wildcat offensive line which paved the way for a unit which averaged 284.4 yards (196.6 rushing, 87.8 passing) and 20.8 points per game, producing three 375+-yard rushers and a 630-yard passer while scoring 27 total offensive touchdowns (18 rushing, nine passing).  Defensively, Mironenko added 35 tackles (28 solo), five sacks and a fumble recovery, averaging 3.2 tackles per game.

Nick DiFrancesco, Junior RB/DB, Loyalsock Township – A returning presence in the Lancers’ defensive backfield, DiFrancesco totaled 29 tackles (26 solo) and two interceptions, averaging 2.9 tackles per game.  He also ran for 308 yards and one touchdown on 104 carries, averaging 2.9 yards per rush.

Nick Sebasovich, Senior OL/LB, Shikellamy – An all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-1 selection along both the offensive line and at linebacker, Sebasovich helped to pave the way for a Braves offensive unit which averaged 17.5 points per game and reached the District 4 AAA semifinals opposite Shamokin.

Nick Stephanie, Sophomore RB/LB, Troy – Stephanie ranks as the Trojans’ top returning tackler after posting 98 tackles (61 solo) in his freshman season, averaging 9.8 stops per game while posting six games of 10+ tackles.

Ray McDougan, Senior WR/DB, Athens – McDougan was a multi-purpose weapon for the Wildcats last season, rushing for 88 yards on six carries and snagging a team-best 32 passes for 501 yards, averaging 14.7 yards per carry and 15.7 yards per reception while scoring five total touchdowns (three rushing, two receiving).

Rob Varano, Senior QB/P, Mount Carmel Area – The Red Tornadoes’ primary punter, Varano averaged 35.4 yards per punt on 52 kicks, with a long of 65 yards.  He began the season as the team’s starting quarterback, and threw for 455 yards and three touchdowns.

Ryan Cherwinski, Senior OL/DL, Southern Columbia – Cherwinski helped to pave the way for a Tiger offensive unit which averaged 41.1 points per game en route to a 14-2 overall record, District 4 A championship and berth in the PIAA A championship game opposite Clairton, producing two 1,300+-yard rushers and a 1,700-yard passing quarterback.

Ryan Gessner, Senior C/LB, Mifflinburg – One of the Wildcats’ returning presences at linebacker, Gessner totaled 16 tackles (14 solo), five sacks, a forced fumble and three fumble recoveries (one of which resulted in a touchdown), averaging 1.5 tackles per game.

Ryan Solomon, Senior OL/LB, Milton Area – An all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-1 selection on both the offensive line and at linebacker, Solomon helped to pave the way for a Black Panther offensive unit which averaged 23.4 points per game and reached the District 4 AAA championship game opposite Shamokin.  Defensively, Solomon, a PIAA wrestling champion, was also dominant, recording 102 tackles, four sacks and two interceptions, averaging 8.5 tackles per game.

Sam Bohnert, Senior WR/OLB, North Penn-Blossburg – Bohnert tallied 51 tackles (28 solo), 3.5 sacks, two interceptions, two deflected passes, a forced fumble and two fumble recoveries, averaging 4.3 tackles per game for the Eastern Conference AA champion Panthers.  He also caught seven passes for 164 yards and one touchdown, averaging 23.4 yards per reception.

Sam Dressler, Junior FB/DB, Danville – The featured running back in a Danville offensive arsenal which averaged more than 185 yards per game on the ground, Dressler posted 1,149 yards and 10 touchdowns on 173 carries and caught another 12 passes for 111 yards, averaging 6.6 yards per carry and 9.3 yards per reception while rushing for 100+ yards in seven of 11 Ironmen games, including a career-best 200 yards against Warrior Run.  Dressler was an all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-1 selection at running back and is on pace to run for more than 3,400 yards in his career.

Scott Appleman, Sophomore FB/LB, Muncy – A force at linebacker for the Indians last season as a freshman, Appleman totaled 20 tackles (14 solo) and a team-leading six sacks, averaging 2.2 tackles per game.

Tanner Bingaman, Junior RB/LB, Mifflinburg – The Wildcats’ third-leading rusher in 2011, Bingaman posted 379 yards and three touchdowns on 79 carries, averaging 4.8 yards per rush.  He also returned four kickoffs for 87 yards, averaging 21.8 yards per kickoff return.

Taylor Hillson, Senior QB/DB, North Penn-Blossburg – Hillson proved quite the defensive force for the Panthers as he wound up collecting 57 tackles (44 solo), a sack, six deflected passes, a forced fumble and four fumble recoveries (one of which he returned for a touchdown), averaging 4.8 tackles per game.

Taylor Young, Senior QB, Southern Columbia – Young was the understudy to senior field general Brad Fegley last season, and Fegley amassed more than 2,000 yards of total offense without throwing an interception.  Young did complete a critical 23-yard pass on 4th down in the PIAA A championship game last season.

T.J. Moyle, Junior LB, Muncy – An all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-III selection at linebacker last season, Moyle tallied 78 tackles (50 solo), a sack, an interception, a deflected pass and a forced fumble, averaging 8.7 tackles per game for the Indians.

Toby Boyer, Senior TE/LB, Mifflinburg – An all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-1 selection at linebacker, Boyer finished his junior season by notching 38 tackles (33 solo), a team-leading six sacks and a fumble recovery, averaging 3.5 tackles per game.  He posted a season-best 12 tackles (10 solo) in Week 10 against rival Lewisburg in The Little Brown Jug game.

Travis Delcamp, Senior OL/DE, Mifflinburg – Delcamp proved quite the defensive force for the Wildcats last season, totaling 29 tackles (23 solo), four sacks, two deflected passes and three forced fumbles, averaging 2.6 tackles per game for the District 4 AA quarterfinalists.

Trevor Bowman, Senior OL/DL, Mifflinburg – An all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-1 selection along the defensive line, Bowman helped to pave the way for a unit which averaged 284.4 yards (196.6 rushing, 87.8 passing) and 20.8 points per game, producing three 375+-yard rushers and a 630-yard passer while scoring 27 total offensive touchdowns (18 rushing, nine passing).  Defensively, he added 34 tackles (23 solo), a sack, a fumble recovery and a blocked punt, averaging 3.1 tackles per game.

Trey Sites, Senior QB/DB, Towanda – One of the top returning statistical leaders, not only in the Northern Tier League, but also in District 4, Sites enjoyed a successful junior season while leading Towanda to the D4 AA semifinals.  He connected on 91-of-169 passes (53.8 percent) for 1,619 yards and 18 touchdowns and added another 511 rushing yards and four touchdowns on 69 carries.  Sites threw for 100+ yards in eight of the Black Knights’ 11 games and ran for 100 yards once.  Defensively, he added 40 tackles (31 solo), two interceptions and a fumble recovery.

Troy Stivason, Junior QB/P/K, Athens – Stivason handled the punting, kickoff and placekicking chores for the Wildcats last season, converting 34 extra points and one field goal, booting two of his 44 kickoffs for touchbacks and averaging 30.1 yards per punt on 35 kicks, with eight of those punts downed inside the 20-yard line.  He also amassed 192 yards of total offense (136 passing, 56 rushing) and accounted for six total touchdowns (four passing, two rushing), completing 12-of-27 passes (44.4 percent) and averaging 5.6 yards per carry on 10 rushes.

Tucker Yost, Sophomore QB, Shamokin – One of just 13 Pennsylvania quarterbacks since 2005 to throw for 1,000 yards or more in his freshman year, Yost completed 79-of-168 passes (47 percent) for 1,020 yards and nine touchdowns, averaging 72.9 yards passing per game.  Yost is on pace to throw for 4,080 yards and 36 touchdowns in his career for the Indians.

Tyler Betz, Junior RB/ILB, Montgomery – Betz proved to be a force for the Red Raiders, especially on special teams, where he blocked four field goals, but he also added 58 tackles (36 solo) and two fumble recoveries, averaging 5.8 tackles per game.

Tyler Birdsall, Senior RB/CB, Athens – The Wildcats’ third-leading rusher in 2011, Birdsall accumulated 286 yards and three touchdowns on 53 carries, averaging 5.4 yards per rush.

Tyler Krebs, Senior QB/DB, Selinsgrove – An all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-1 selection at defensive back, Krebs notched 82 tackles, a team-leading four interceptions, three deflected passes and two fumble recoveries, averaging 8.2 tackles per game to go along with four games of 10+ tackles.

Tyler Lewis, Senior OL/DL/P, Milton Area – An all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-1 selection on both the offensive line and at punter, Lewis helped to pave the way for a Black Panther offensive unit which averaged 23.4 points per game and reached the District 4 AAA championship game opposite Shamokin.

Tyler Young, Junior C/DE, Central Columbia – Young helped to pave the way for a Blue Jay offensive arsenal which averaged 232.3 yards (152.3 passing, 80 rushing) and 16.5 points per game, producing an 1,100-yard passer while scoring 24 total offensive touchdowns (13 passing, 11 rushing). 

Utoah Agae-Naipo, Junior RB/ILB, Jersey Shore – An all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-1 selection at running back, Agae-Naipo ran for 507 yards on 123 carries, averaging 4.1 yards per rush.

Vinny Candelora, Senior DL, Mount Carmel Area – Candelora posted 53 tackles and four sacks in action on the Mount Carmel defensive line last season, averaging 3.8 tackles per game.

Walker West, Junior RB/LB, Troy – West tallied 42 tackles (33 solo) for the Trojans, averaging 4.2 tackles per game in his sophomore season.

Wyatt Covert, Junior RB/LB, Wellsboro – Covert totaled 44 tackles (34 solo) and a forced fumble for Wellsboro in his sophomore season, averaging 4.4 tackles per game.

Zach Burrows, Junior P, Warrior Run – Burrows was an all-Heartland Athletic Conference Division-III selection at punter for the Defenders.

Zach Wasilewski, Junior QB, Mount Carmel Area – The Red Tornadoes’ field general over the second half of the season, including the team’s District 4 playoff run, Wasilewski completed 59-of-138 passes (42.8 percent) for 737 yards and nine touchdowns against 10 interceptions, throwing for 100+ yards in two games.  He also added one rushing touchdown on 54 keepers.

Zack Kozick, Junior QB/DB, Danville – Kozick hauled in 23 passes for 242 yards and four touchdowns for Danville in his junior season, averaging 10.5 yards per reception.
