Delone Catholic stood out to me in week three tradition has them being a rushing teem but in 3 games they have over 400 yards passing with about 9 or 10 passing TDS who is this Bret Smith?

Dowingtown East continues to win with a 29-28 win over a game Glen Mills. Drew Harris 30 carries 179 tds and a Td. True work horse back. Up next a league opener against Coatesville in what should be a great game. The Chestmont in my view is the best league in District 1

In District 1, how about heavy underdog Pottstown (3A) defeating PAC-10 favorite Boyertown (4A) 34-27? Also, what about Pottsgrove containing Temple bound Ron Gillespie en route to a 67-7 win over Upper Perkiomen? In that game Jr RB Mark Dukes rushed for 242 yds & 4 TDs on 11 carries.

What one team stood out for you?
Nazareth Area coming back to defeat Liberty 42-41
QB Dan Harding threw for 395 yards and rushed for 49 yards. (5 total touchdowns)

Dallas rools 53-20. Ryan Zapoticky 10-13 2TD passing. 100 yds rushing. Jim Roccograndi 175+ rushing. Jason Simonovich 2TD receiving and Shane Dunn outstanding job receiving the ball. Roll Dallas Roll.

How about the Central League shake-up? Whoever thought that Springfield and Marple Newtown would be 3-0 before Strath Haven and Ridley?

The Abington Ghost football team. They are 3-0 with Big Wins against CB East, PW and most recently Souderton. They man handled the Souderton Wing T offense on Soudertons turf. Abington’s D gets no respect. They have caused 10 turnovers in their first three games. The offense is explosive too. They went for 400+ yds against Souderton (Cropper QB 300+yds and 2TDS passing, Schreiner RB 98 yds 3 TDS rush 100+ yds 1TD receiving and Lee WR 100+ yds receiving 1 TD.

I think ACC may have righted the ship by a mercy rule 52-14 rout of a 2-0 pretty good Bethlehem Catholic team. Nosovitch was back to his old form racking up 211 yds. in the air and 170 yds on the ground while scoring 5 TDs in the process. The Vikings not only needed to win but they needed to do it in decisive fashion and they sure accomplished that. I think it was indeed a statement that they will be a force to contend with in AAA and the two losses to start the season may have just awaken them. But let’s not kid ourselves it’s only one game and tougher opponents are in the horizon, Nazareth and Whitehall will be true tests of what the Vikes are all about this year. Should ACC prevail in those contests a meeting with Wood in December is inevitable! We’ll see!
