Playoff Talk Class AA Week 13

Loyalsock Township rushed for 280 yards while on defense. They held Lewisburg to 131 total yards of offense in a 41-6 win over Lewisburg.
Loyalsock Township won its second district title in three years.
Quarterback Stephen Stopper had 220 total yards and five total touchdowns.
Loyalsock Township (10-3) plays Lancaster Catholic (12-1).
Lancaster Catholic
Quarterback Kyle Smith set another record throwing for 171 yards and four scores to lead the Crusaders over Delone Catholic 42-6 in the District 3 Class 2A championship game.
Smith completed 10 of 16 passes. Wide receiver Tyler Purvis caught six passes for 96 yards and three touchdowns.
Running back Jordan Stewart rushed for 122 yards on 21 carries and two scores.
Lancaster Catholic (12-1) plays Loyalsock Township (10-3).
North Schuylkill
North Schuylkill scored the last 19 points of the game en route to a 33-26 win over Northern Lehigh and the District 11 Class 2A football championship.
Kody Flail’s 15-yard touchdown run gave the Spartans the lead for good. He would add another 15-yard touchdown run with 1:47 to go. He finished the game with 107 yards rushing on 15 carries. Ed Pavalko added 89 yards and three touchdowns.
North Schuylkill rushed for 220 yards.
The Spartans defense came up with interceptions on Northern Lehigh’s final two possessions to seal the win.
North Schuylkill (13-0) plays West Catholic (11-2).
West Catholic
West Catholic’s two touchdowns came on great field position as the Burrs went on to beat previously unbeaten Dunmore 13-0 in the first round of the PIAA Class 2A game.
Tailback Brandon Hollomon rushed for 217 yards and West Catholic had 336 total yards of offense. They held Dunmore to 125 yards.
Kaheem Summerville rushed for 13 yards and one score. Quarterback Jarred Evans hit Quran Kent for a 23-yard touchdown pass in the first quarter.
West Catholic (11-2) plays North Schuylkill (13-0).
