District 1 Talk Week 11

Interboro

Unbeaten Interboro held on to defeat Glen Mills 20-13 and win its 12th straight Del-Val League championship.

It was the 10th straight win of the season for the Bucs. They qualify for the District one Class AAA playoffs.

Quarterback Brett Creighton threw one touchdown pass and rushed for another score.

North Penn

The Knights blew open a close game at halftime and went on for the 39-12 win over Pennridge. The Knights end the regular season 10-0 and clinch another Suburban One League Continental Conference championship. They also clinched the top seed for the 16-team District One Class AAAA playoffs.

Craig Needhammer rushed for 180 yards.

Bayard Rustin

Running back Rondell White scored four touchdowns (three rushing) as the Golden Knights clinched the Ches-Mont American Division with a 42-7 win over Oxford at Harold L. Zimmerman Stadium at West Chester East.

Rondell White rushed for 93 yards and three touchdowns.

Pennsbury

Pennsbury fought off a second half rally by Neshaminy in a 27-20 thrilling overtime win. With the win Pennsbury claims its first title since 1993.

Quarterback Brandon Pepper passed for 36 yards and he rushed for 105 yards on 20 carries. He had three rushing touchdowns.

Fullback Dante Devine rushed for 56 yards on 15 carries and one score.

Wissahickon

Anthony Delegall broke up a two-point conversion pass with 1:20 remaining and Wissahickon held on for the 35-34 win over Upper Dublin.

Brandon Gun led the way with four touchdowns.
