upper_dauphinLast weekend, Trey Campbell rushed for 224-yards on 32 carries and one touchdown to help lead his team to a 28-6 win over Millersburg.

Campbell’s 224-yard performance pushed his All-Purpose totals to 3,931 yards. He broke the previous record of 3,754 yards held by Jimmy Savage. “He has been a kick returner for four years for us. “Last year he played wide receiver for us and we moved him to tailback position.”

So far this season Campbell has rushed for 1,431 yards on 249 carries and 15 touchdowns. He has caught 11 passes for 152 yards. “He’s a physical runner and he has gotten a lot of his yards after contact.”

In a game against East Juniata, Trey carried the ball 50 times for 276-yards.

As a kick returner, he’s averaging 27.17 yards a return so far this season and Trey has 1,909 all-purpose yards in 10 games.

His team finished 7-3 and qualified for Districts. They are seeded third in District 3 Class A.
