Offensive Player of the Week

Malachi Harris – Roman Catholic – WR – Senior

In the Cahillites upset win over Archbishop Wood (20-to-6), the speedy and shifty Harris set the tone on Roman’s first play from scrimmage when he raced past the Vikings secondary for a 55-yard receiving touchdown. Harris went on to add two more scores before the break, as he and quarterback Jayden Pope connected twice for 5 and 24 yards, respectively. All total, he finished with 5 catches for 107 yards.

Defensive Player of the Week

Richie Kimmel – Archbishop Carroll – LB – Senior

The Patriots physical and active defensive leader was everywhere in his team’s 27-to-23 road win at Conwell-Egan. Kimmel spearheaded the defense with 17 total tackles, including 12 solo stops. Two of his stops went for losses and he added a pass defend for good measure.

Special Teams Player of the Week

Antonio Chadha – St. Joe’s Prep – K – Sophomore

The strong-legged Chadha was as dominant as the rest of his teammates in the Hawks’ resounding victory over rival Lasalle, 44-13. He blasted all five of his point-after attempts, while adding a 25-yard field goal in the third quarter. Six of his kickoffs reached the end zone for touchbacks, ensuring that the Explorers wouldn’t be getting quality field position.
