Coaches comments: Erik is a team leader on and off the field and a high character young man.  He will be an outstanding LB at the next level, especially when he fills out his frame.  He is one of our most consistent and hardest working guys in the off season and is a true student of the game who is a real film junkie.  His film study has paid huge dividends on the field as he is able to read and diagnose plays quickly.  He has a nice burst and break on the ball and is a really aggressive tackler.
