Coaches Comments: Chase was the emotional and unquestioned leader of our offense. He is a captain for his senior season and was our offensive player of the year for a second consecutive season. He is arguably the toughest overall player I have coached. He had a monster year statistically and had a tremendous amount on his shoulders week in and week out. His reads in the run game and pass game were very consistent and I am very proud of his effort in his first full year behind center. He has exceeded expectations and earned a spot among the best QB’s in our school history. Chase translates as a dual threat QB or a general athlete who can use his intellect to be an essential weapon on a collegiate offense.
