It was another record-setting week across Pennsylvania high school football.
Notre Dame-Green Pond quarterback Tommy Murphy tied a school record with seven touchdown passes, Columbia’s Nick Boyer threw for 439 yards, and three head coaches and programs reached notable milestones.
Parkland head coach Tim Moncman earned his 200th career victory and 100th win at Parkland with a 35-0 victory over Stroudsburg, while North Penn head coach Dick Beck recorded career victory No. 250 in a 35-7 win over Pennsbury.
Lebanon also matched South Philadelphia with 56 consecutive losses following an 85-6 loss to Elizabethtown.
On the field, the individual numbers were just as impressive. Williams Valley’s Fletcher Thompson rushed for 291 yards, Columbia’s Kareem Nichols piled up 297 receiving yards, and Mount Carmel Area rolled up 534 yards on the ground.
Murphy Ties Notre Dame-Green Pond Record
Notre Dame-Green Pond quarterback Tommy Murphy turned in one of the week’s biggest performances.
Murphy threw for 386 yards and seven touchdowns against Pen Argyl, tying the school record for touchdown passes in a game.
He now shares the record with Matt Bodnar, who threw seven touchdown passes against Garden Spot in 2024.
Murphy’s seven passing touchdowns also led all reported quarterbacks for the week.
Moncman Reaches 200 Career Wins
Parkland’s 35-0 victory over Stroudsburg provided a pair of coaching milestones for Tim Moncman.
The victory was No. 200 of Moncman’s career and his 100th as Parkland’s head coach.
Beck Earns Career Win No. 250
North Penn head football coach Dick Beck reached a major career milestone with the Knights’ 35-7 victory over Pennsbury.
The victory was the 250th of Beck’s career, adding another accomplishment to his tenure leading the North Penn football program.
North Penn’s convincing 28-point victory made the night even more memorable as Beck reached the 250-win plateau.
Lebanon reached a different historical mark following its 85-6 loss to Elizabethtown. The loss was Lebanon’s 56th consecutive defeat, matching South Philadelphia’s mark of 56 straight losses.
Boyer Throws for 439 Yards
Columbia’s Nick Boyer led all reported passers with a huge 439-yard performance.
Boyer also threw five touchdown passes and accounted for five total touchdowns.
Murphy followed with 386 yards and his record-tying seven touchdowns.
Roman Catholic’s Jahmil Hawkins threw for 351 yards, while West Chester Henderson’s Jaxon Cherup finished with 336.
Archbishop Wood’s Jack Drakeley threw for 291 yards, followed by Coatesville’s Mikal Shank with 287, Marian Catholic’s Gregory Tirpak with 284, Conwell-Egan’s Aubrey Kimbrough with 283, Susquehanna Township’s Cael Feidt and Jersey Shore’s Nolen Pauling with 281 apiece.
Warwick’s Colin McGaw finished with 272 yards, Schuylkill Valley’s Alex Aletras had 271 and Central York’s Jamin Ilgenfritz threw for 267.
Nazareth Area’s Cooper Madson (265), Camp Hill’s Colby Luther (261), Hanover Area’s Logan Richardson (255), Bloomsburg’s Shane Frey (248), Loyalsock’s Dyson Dupont (240), West York’s Jensen Ferber (233), Executive Education Academy’s Shawntez Whitsitt (230) and Williamsport’s Zion Hughes (225) also reached the 225-yard mark.
Dupont Tosses Six Touchdowns
Behind Murphy’s seven touchdown passes was Loyalsock quarterback Dyson Dupont with six.
Conwell-Egan’s Aubrey Kimbrough, Central York’s Jamin Ilgenfritz and Columbia’s Boyer each threw five touchdown passes.
Holy Cross’ Chase Rutkoski, Penn Manor’s Connor Smeigh, Marian Catholic’s Gregory Tirpak and Archbishop Wood’s Drakeley each finished with four.
Schuylkill Valley’s Aletras, Mifflinburg’s Brennen Snyder, Northwest Area’s Cole Cavuto, Nazareth Area’s Madson, Montoursville’s Elijah Eck, Kennett’s Garrett McCracken, Northern Lehigh’s Garrett Smoyer, Steelton-Highspire’s Jayce Jones, West Chester Henderson’s Cherup, West York’s Ferber, Northern Lebanon’s Markus Miller, Coatesville’s Shank, Archbishop Carroll’s RJ Finlaw, Bishop McDevitt’s Sebastian Williams, Bloomsburg’s Frey and Northwestern Lehigh’s Trey Snyder were among those throwing three touchdown passes.
Thompson Leads the Ground Game
Williams Valley’s Fletcher Thompson led all reported rushers with 291 yards and scored four touchdowns.
Pine Grove Area’s Logan Troup rushed for 268 yards and three scores, while Honesdale’s Gabe Duda piled up 267 yards and found the end zone five times.
Bensalem’s Brennan Farnsworth rushed for 263 yards, Pope John Paul II’s Kassidy Jackson had 260 and Tri-Valley’s Parker Hatter finished with 257 yards and five touchdowns.
Annville-Cleona’s Yama Navarro rushed for 254 yards, while Archbishop Wood’s D’Andre Webb finished with 248.
Abington Heights’ Jayden Anglin had 224 yards, Octorara’s Brayden Mastrippolito rushed for 221 and Western Wayne’s Quinn Swartz added 216.
Berwick Area’s Brady Cleaver and Trinity’s Brandon Harris each finished with 206 yards, while Shamokin’s Logan Steele hit the 200-yard mark.
Daniel Boone’s Dominic Stoudt rushed for 198 yards, Berwick Area’s Brayden Cleaver had 193, Episcopal Academy’s A’Ahzere Lucas finished with 190, Coatesville’s Andre Watson Jr. had 181 and Blue Mountain’s Brody Foose rushed for 179.
Duda and Hatter Score Five Times
Honesdale’s Duda and Tri-Valley’s Hatter led the reported rushing touchdown totals with five apiece.
Williams Valley’s Thompson, Mount Carmel Area’s Jaylen Delaney and Solanco’s Wesley Bard each scored four rushing touchdowns.
Great Valley’s Beau Kosmalski, Trinity’s Harris, Blue Mountain’s Foose, Daniel Boone’s Stoudt, Roman Catholic’s Hawkins, Downingtown East’s Julez Chiron-Robinson, Archbishop Ryan’s Kazmaire Kelly, Northwest Area’s Loegan Diltz, Shamokin’s Steele, Pine Grove Area’s Troup, Central Bucks East’s Mike Price, Interboro’s Momodu Rogers, Cardinal O’Hara’s Morris Donzo, Elizabethtown’s Prince Wratto, Garden Spot’s Seth Musselman and Susquehanna Township’s Sincere Littlejohn each rushed for three touchdowns.
Nichols Explodes for 297 Receiving Yards
Columbia’s Kareem Nichols put together the week’s biggest reported receiving performance, hauling in seven passes for 297 yards and four touchdowns.
Archbishop Wood’s David Melcher followed with 189 yards and three touchdown receptions.
Jersey Shore’s Connor Winters and Marian Catholic’s Rocco Griguoli each had 165 receiving yards.
West Chester Henderson’s Gage Wilding finished with 152 yards, Warwick’s Vince Yacoviello had 151 and Shikellamy’s Thomas Pollock recorded 150.
Central York’s DeMarcus Murray finished with 138 yards and three touchdowns, while Warrior Run’s Liam Moore had 137.
Hamburg’s Eli Metzler had 135 yards, Notre Dame-Green Pond’s Drew Boyd finished with 131 yards and three touchdown catches, and Schuylkill Valley’s William Johns also had 131.
Holy Cross’ Luca Beradi had 128 yards, Line Mountain’s Henry Malfara finished with 122, Canton Area’s Rylan Wesneski had 121 and Conwell-Egan’s Craig Montgomery recorded 120.
St. Joseph’s Prep’s Jett Harrison finished with 119 receiving yards while leading the reported reception totals with 10 catches.
Harper and Nichols Catch Four Touchdowns
Conwell-Egan’s Jameer Harper and Columbia’s Nichols led the receiving touchdown category with four apiece.
Archbishop Wood’s Melcher, Central York’s Murray and Notre Dame-Green Pond’s Boyd each caught three touchdown passes.
St. Joseph’s Prep’s Harrison led the reception totals with 10.
Lancaster Catholic’s Chase Smith, Montoursville’s Mason Lapinski, Wilson’s Michael Glover, Northern Lebanon’s Logan Copenhaver, Camp Hill’s Owen Grove, Shikellamy’s Pollock, Warwick’s Yacoviello and Schuylkill Valley’s Johns each caught eight passes.
Upper Darby’s Amir Crooks, Jersey Shore’s Conner Yingling, Central York’s Murray, Hamburg’s Metzler, West Chester Henderson’s Wilding, Montoursville’s Kaden Kleinman, Columbia’s Nichols, Marian Catholic’s Griguoli, Canton’s Wesneski, Hempfield’s Orion Abrams, Southern Lehigh’s Otto Young, Camp Hill’s Sam Miller, West York’s Tayvon Thomas and Nazareth Area’s Will Bacolo each recorded seven receptions.
Mount Carmel Area Rolls Up 534 Rushing Yards
Mount Carmel Area continued to produce huge numbers on the ground, rushing for 534 yards as a team.
Jaylen Delaney contributed four rushing touchdowns and finished with five total touchdowns.
Steelton-Highspire also surpassed 400 yards on the ground, finishing with 406 team rushing yards.
Murphy Leads Total Touchdown Category
Murphy’s record-tying seven touchdown passes also put him atop the week’s total touchdown category.
Loyalsock’s Dupont accounted for six touchdowns.
Conwell-Egan’s Kimbrough, Honesdale’s Duda, Central York’s Ilgenfritz, Mount Carmel Area’s Delaney, West Chester Henderson’s Cherup, Columbia’s Boyer, Tri-Valley’s Hatter and Solanco’s Bard each accounted for five touchdowns.

Blue Mountain Linemen Lead Pancake Blocks
Blue Mountain teammates Ryan Clemas and Vaughn Helverson led the reported pancake-block totals with six apiece.
Central York’s Demitri Shelley and Cedar Crest’s Grey Shaffer each recorded five.
Cedar Crest’s Griffin Schomp and Central York teammates Kadin Noor and Pat Baker each had four pancake blocks.
Panther Valley’s Brody Vermillion, Trinity’s Colton Gambill and Thomas Mitchal, Williams Valley’s Gavin Trawitz and Koen Zilinski, and Blue Mountain’s Hunter Reichart and Kurt Krammes each finished with three.
