Coach’s Comment: Kariff is one of the smartest football players I have had the pleasure of coaching. He is a true team-first player who has always put the success of the team ahead of his individual goals. Since earning a varsity role as a freshman, he has played TE, DE, MLB, WR, and this season will move to QB and Strong Safety to fill team needs.
Last season, Kariff recorded nearly 700 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns at wide receiver. Due to his athleticism, leadership, and football IQ, we are transitioning him to quarterback so the ball is in his hands every snap. He is a dynamic playmaker who can impact the game in multiple ways.
Kariff has had an outstanding offseason, transforming himself physically and taking his game to another level. We expect him to have a tremendous season and continue to be a leader for our program on and off the field.
